Well put Captain Bill.
You can look at ALL of the trades afterwords and manipulate the situation to prove whatever point YOU want. But THAT is not the point. The point is that GP is doing what HE thinks is best for the team. We have been quite demanding since our recent success. I think the fans remember the not so good ol' days and tend to put a lot of pressure on GP. The man put his nuts on the chopping block (sorry I lacked better words) with the Artest trade. And some people are still holding their breath about that.
GP is not going to make any trades IMHO. He learned much too harshly from the C-Webb trade that the team who gets the best player wins the trade. We are not desperate enough to ditch Bonzi, no matter if he does or doesn't walk. In fact, Bonzi walking only clears up space, for money AND a starting spot for K-Mart, if I am thinking correctly. Don't get me wrong, we need Bonzi this year, and I can't wait to see him next to Ron for more that one game. Heck, Bonzi might WANT to stay in Sac, but no one seems to suggest that.
Either way, GP is still wiping the sweat off of his forehead from the Artest trade. He is not about to do anything stupid, like for example, trade Bonzi for s***. He is already "all in" for this season. And that is something that I can live with.
