Amick article on Black Falcon

I don't have access to the full article, but would love to read it. If anyone with access is so inclined, I'd appreciate a PM with the article (god bless VF21, who used to send me these types of things).

That’s a great write-up. Also, I feel really silly for being out of the loop on bad blood between Barnes and Draymond. (Not that I’m surprised Draymond could manage to have a bad relationship with a class act like Barnes.)

I also don't have access. What's the source of the bad blood between HB and Green?

Nevermind - I realized it's probably Draymond recruiting Durant which meant HB left for Dallas in free agency.

Yeah, HB kinda caught the blame for not playing well offensively in games 5, 6, and 7 of the Finals for that 73 win squad (he did play well in games 1, 3, and 4 though).

IMO, that's just Dray shifting blame away from his actions in GM4 that got him suspended for GM5.

And while HB did have an dreadful 2-14 performance in GM5 and 0-8 in GM6, let's not forget he had just barely turned 24 years old that series. He was still a young kid. $#1t happens.

I can't recall exactly, but I should think a much younger LBJ was defending him a bit that series, too.

I would share the text of the article, but I don’t have PMing capabalities for my account yet.
They also mention an incident where, after Barnes turned down an extension equivalent to Draymond’s, Draymond interrupted a reporter interviewing Barnes: “Ask him why he turned down all that money.”

Love this quote from HB (at the team dinner):
“So you have the opportunity to make your mark. You have the opportunity to do something special. And it’s not something where you just want to say, ‘Oh, OK, we made the playoffs this year, throw in the towel, and over the next couple years, you know, we’ll work our way up.’ I was like, ‘No, now is the opportunity where you go and you put your best foot forward with the mindset of having this be a playoff run as opposed to a playoff appearance.”

Dray, according to him, is the only one in the Warriors roster who didn't get invited to HB's wedding. I'd take it for what it's worth but also remember it is Draymond who if he is unfortunately my real life friend, I probably wouldn't invite him either so...
