Anwar had a good voice, but he always looked so uncomfortable up on stage. I don't know..there was just something about him that made me not really want to watch him. I would have prefered to see Scott and Anthony go before Anwar, but at least they were in the bottom three.

I don't think Anwar should have gone before Anthony or Scott....MAN....that's just bootie!!!!!!!!!!!

LAME. Unless Bo wins, America is WRONG this time around.
I didn't like the format for revealing the bottom three. I don't know about anyone else but as soon as they put Vonzell on one side and Scott on the other I had no doubts whatsoever about which three were the bottom feeders...
One thing about Constantine and the make-up? I think it was part of the persona he was trying for - kind of a disco/glam-type thing.
Although I really hoped Scott would be gone next, I think America has gotten it right about who the top ones should be that are left. It's gonna be interesting next week.

Less Then Spectacular Week
The only individual that had a performance worth applauding was Vonzell.
Even Carrie was just OK
I actually think Anthony and Scott did better then Bo and Constantine.
Constantine is not a "rock-n-Roll" screamer ... sounds more like a screecher
Bo did not impress me AT ALL.
Vonzell and Carrie will advance ... all the guys are in the bottom 4 !!!
Based upon this weeks performance (not popularity or where from .. I really think alot of votes come from their home town/state ... nothing to do with talent)
... My bottom 3 predictions = Scott - Bo - Constantine

I have a rabid AI fan in my office. Yesterday morning, when she found out what the theme was, I said to her that I would love to hear BO sing Gavin Dagraws song.
So there I am watching the tape (had to tape it because of the horror of a game) and BO comes out and sings it. I almost peed. So, here is my take on last night.
Carrie-She was flat the entire time. What a terrible performance. She could never quite relax into the key and get her notes true. Martina McBride has one of the finest voices in music and she is tough to sing. Carrie did not pull it off.
BO-Absolutely rocked this song. Thought he was amazing again. He is the only one up there with TRUE talent.
Vonzell-Again could not stay on pitch. Not a good performance as a whole. Has a couple of nice moments, but I thought it was weak. She is not AI material.
Anthony-Sounded great. He has a great voice. It is very reminiscent of Steve Perry, but lacks the "rock" power. I just don't think he is AI material either.
Constantine-Nothing special at all. Still is so cheesy. He didn't do anything wrong, or hit bad notes, he just does nothing for me at all.
Scott-He has a lovely limited voice. Again not AI material. Nice sound, but not professional and certainly not the caliber AI is looking for.
BO is the one to beat. I think the bottom 3 this week are going to be Carrie, Scott and Constantine. And I think it is time for Scott to go home.

Everyone who has ever made it into the top 12 got there by being considered (or had the potential) to be "AI Material" ... wasn't it the judges (Simon, Paula and Randy) who determined which 12 individuals would then be voted-upon by America ??? I'm trying to recall how the 12 finalist got here.

Let me also say that I don't think Bo is AI Material.
I look at AI as being a very entertaining show, but you will not see the next Whitney or Mariah or Beyonce, or Alicia come out of AI. It just is not going to happen.
Kelly, Ruben, and what's her name are doing ok, but they are not huge stars.
AI Material for me is someone young, someone who they can mold into whatever they want, someone who they can market as a pop star. If AI did not exist, you would most likely never see these people on the cover of anything. I just think it is a cash cow machine and talent doesn't really matter. Either the people that win (get the most votes) are marketable or they aren't. I'm sure, during the shows/competition/voting ... the contestants are "getting their 15 minutes of fame". Once they leave the show, unless you are drop-dead beautiful or gorgeous .... you're a REALITY TV WINNER. As a group, they tour the country ... get on some TV talk shows ... make CD's ... get some headlines, that's about it. The show itself has a HUGE following. One of the TOP RATED shows on TV. I'm sure air-time for commercials can be pretty pricey. Cingular is probably getting all kinds of business because of their MONOPOLY of being able to vote with text-messaging.
I enjoy the show and I enjoy all the different venues/musical styles the contestants are challenged with each week.
You can definitelly tell what their strengths and weaknesses are.

I ask, because I am one of the judges on the selection committee that selects 4 individuals to sing The National Anthem each year for the Folsom Rodeo. The rodeo is a 4-day event. Interested in trying ???
If so, audtions will be held June 16th at the Folsom Chamber of Commerce.

Folsom Al-I am local in that it would take me about an hour and 1/2 to get to you. I live in Sonoma County.
I would love to audition though. How exciting. The National Anthem is one of THE most difficult songs to sing. You have to make sure you start it low enough or you will be out of luck with the "rockets red glare" So give me more information.
I wish you could come see my show. That way you could get an idea.

and it's done acapella ....
Sonoma, CA ... wow, that's a long ways to drive for "an audition" without any guarantees. But, I'll let you know ... we can start PM'ing each other after this.
The Folsom Rodeo is from July 1st-4th .... National Anthem sung at the start of EACH evening. Fireworks everynight as well !!! 4 different singers will be selected from those that audition.
Love to see your show ... you have a website ???

aww.....I didn't want him to leave.....I can't believe Vonzell was in the bottom 3! I thought Scott would go 2nite...but I guess when u leave it up to the fans to vote...anything can happen.....I wish the best of luck to Constantine...

All I can say is YIPPEE. I am so glad it was Constantine that went home. I was truly done with him. Hard to watch him. But, I disagree about Anthony being in bottom 3 last night. Based on his performance on Tues, he should've been with Carrie and BO and not Scott. Scott, you sneaked through again.
Hoopsfan, I have a much different opinion than you do about Bo. He is much more than hair. He has a great voice, he is comfortable up there on that stage, he doesn't try to be sexy or cute like Connie boy did, he just is. He is a natural.
I think based vocal talent and stage prescence alone the final 2 should Bo and Anthony or Vonzell. But...I think it will be Bo and Carrie in the end. OH Well.
