Good for Fox. However, he SHOULDN'T have to be named as a replacement; He SHOULD HAVE been a starter to begin with...
No shame at all, but still should've been IN FRONT of SGA and Dame...Rightfully earned. Still don’t think there’s any shame in being behind SGA and Dame, but whatever “wrongs” there were are now righted.

And fans are gonna fan...The popular ones/fan favorites are always going to get in as long as they are on the ballot. There's no way around that, and there never will be, unless you take away fan voting. But, then, what's the point???SGA’s having a ridiculous season. I can understand Dame, fewer games, worse record. But in the end the NBA caters to its NAMES and legacies. Knew it was an uphill battle to dethrone him.

Austin Reaves was ahead of Fox for most of the voting period. Hopefully that’s the straw that breaks the camel’s back and makes them change the system.Fan voting needs to go away yesterday. Every single warrior on the list every single year is downright stupid.
Domas wasn’t on a designated rookie max extension so his money won’t go up except for a small bonus incentive I believe. De’Aaron’s contract gets booked from a 180 million one to a 200 million one I believe but he’s already in year 2 of that deal anyways so I don’t know what that gets prorated to.Great for Fox!!! Quick question, does this increase his contract in any way? I know there are super max provisions if you are named for certain awards, but not sure if this is one, or if they apply retroactive.
Same question for Domas. As an all star ( or If he is all NBA) does that change the extension?
You know their statement will be, "it's an exhibition game for fans, they need to have a say". If jordan were eligible he would be the top vote getter still.Austin Reaves was ahead of Fox for most of the voting period. LOL...That is deflating as well...
LOL that is grim
Domas will get extra 1.3m and next year cap hit for the Kings will be 1.3m more as likely incentive. For Fox no change except for his personal endorsements...To qualify for designated rookie extension at least one must be satisfied:Domas wasn’t on a designated rookie max extension so his money won’t go up except for a small bonus incentive I believe. Still time for him to get all-NBA this season though!Domas will get extra 1.3m and next year cap hit for the Kings will be 1.3m more as likely incentive. For Fox no change except for his personal endorsements...To qualify for designated rookie extension at least one must be satisfied:

No it's too late...Fox contract won't change even if he's all NBA...you supposed to be all NBA before contract starts...like Tatum missed on 3rd team all NBA before his extension started.Still time for him to get all-NBA this season though!
He was named as a replacement. Not sure if it actually makes it any "harder" to pass him up as a result. If he were named as a starter or a reserve, I'd tend to agree with you a little more, but not sure if I can completely get behind your logic since he was named as a replacement...Now that he's in, harder to pass him over in the future. Not impossible, but harder.
