Danny Ainge had what he and most Celtics observers must hope is the last word on Rajon Rondo's Birthday-gate flap. The Celtics president of basketball operations, in his weekly appearance on 98.5 The SportsHub's Toucher & Rich morning show on Wednesday, said Rondo was advised not to stay in Los Angeles to celebrate his 28th birthday and instead travel with the team to Sacramento, even though wasn't going to play that night against the Kings. Ainge admitted the Celtics point guard acted against his and coach Brad Stevens' wishes. CSNNE.com Celtics insider A. Sherrod Blakely wondered why Ainge would even bring the whole thing up again.
