I have a question/dilemma. I am a non practicing Serbian Orthodox and my wife is Catholic. We had our baby girl 3 weeks ago. My parents wish is of course to have her baptized in Serbian Orthodox church and my wife's parents would like the other way around.
My wife is acceptable of doing it in orthodox church, but we have a dilemma (on top of the obvious one). Both godparents that we want (and my wife kind of already asked) are not Orthodox. I am pretty sure that the rule is that at least one god parent has to be Serbian Orthodox and that's where the dilemma kick in. I heard/read somewhere that you can have more than 2 godparents?! Anyone know if this is true as that might be our only solution.
I know I should probably just pick up the phone and call someone to ask, but I am a procrastinator so I figured I ask here first.
Thanks
