A New Kings fan but very frustrated!

I'll be perfectly honest with you. I became a Kings fan because of Jimmer Fredette. I've been a big BYU fan for many years and have greatly enjoyed Jimmer's incredible college career, looking forward to his success at the professional level. I've watched every Kings game this year and have been reading your posts on this forum for the last week. Like many of you true fans, I'm totally frustrated.

There is talent on this team, but they don't play like a team. This is the most selfish team I've ever seen. Your guards Evans and Thorton simply never look to pass the ball, and the big men hardly ever kick the ball back out to open players on the wings. The Nuggets' announcers tonight made several comments about how these players do not look to pass but play "one on one" basketball. Shots are forced and closely contested.

How do I see Jimmer's play so far? What part will he play on this team? From day one he came in looking to be a team player, looking for pass 1st and shoot 2nd. Sure I want him to score and spread the court with his range, but this team needs a true PG and I think Fredette can be just that. If the big men would move better w/o the ball I believe his assists could easily be 10/game. Tonight against the Nuggets Jimmer missed a lot of open shots...something I don't think we'll see very often. But they were open shots, not forced ones. Remember, he never sat on a bench and had to come in cold in college.

So naturally I'd like to see him start at PG and see this team coached to play like a team and I think Jimmer could really contribute like he did in the first preseason game.

I will be watching tomorrow night again and pulling for the Kings. Hopefully we'll see more assists than turnovers and see some guys have some fun setting up their teammates.
