Plowden is an NBA player. Not sure he‘ll be back next year but he should land somewhere.
One of my few accurate assessments in Summer league was that plowed in and Cardwell had great energy. I just wasn’t sure they could get their skill set at the NBA level in one year. I really hope they figure out how to keep Daquan.

The great thing about Dylan is that even as he does his emotes and celebrations, he freaking SPRINTS onto the defensive end every single possession.

End of Kings tanking investigation please! We had every incentive to throw this one after Utah beat the brakes off of Memphis! 4th-5th position it is then.

34 minutes for Carter, 36 minutes for Plowden, 37 minutes for Clifford, 38 minutes for Raynaud. Achiuwa only played 6 minutes in the second half, Monk didn't play at all in the second half.

And if you play the vets you should be playing the rooks to help the tank!
No! It’s obviously Doug Christie’s fault for not throwing games except for the games where he fouls someone intentionally in which case it is an affront to humanity that someone would even try to lose on purpose (which he didn’t)

Golden State kept their A team on the bench down the stretch. They wanted to lose. I hope they get embarrassed in their last two games. And Adam Silver doesn't hand them a first overall pick. It was bad enough that they investigated Doug because Draymond said so. Will hate these guys always and forever.

The sadder thing is they were more afraid to lose with those guys. Kerr actually chickened out in this one. lol.

Is it that they "wanted" to lose, or they just didn't care if they lost, because they're locked into the 10th seed?

Just pointing out you used the wrong verb tense
You aren't wrong, I'm frustrated and more fans should be. This team is pathetic. I've been a die hard fan for 30 years. They had a chance to build a real team and it lasted a year because we refused to make moves. We are the only team dumb enough to trade for Demar/LaVine. We trade Keon for nothing. We couldn't move Sabonis/Monk/Demar at the deadline. We were in a great spot to have at worst a top 5 pick, now we've significantly reduced our odds for #1/Top 4.

So ya, It's awful to watch. When you think the team is finally going to go the right direction, and in a great position to do so, they prove to continue being the most incompetent franchise in sports. I am pissed. Should we just pretend this was all part of the plan?

Alternative theory is that the human fossils they depend on to somehow get through the play in were done and the game was getting pretty ticky-tacky so Kerr was willing to take the L to protect the tattered remnants of a season they have left

Should be noted that they coughed up the lead with those guys playing then Kerr pulled them when GPII got ejected during a timeout because he (probably) didn’t want to risk Draymond doing something dumb and getting suspended for their token Play-In appearance.

Are you happy that they went 10-15 post asb? will it be worth it when we pick 7th?

The Kings were never truly in a position to be that bad. Always thought they'd be 8-9 so even being this high is a bit surprising so if they drop to 8 it'll all make sense, haha. The Kings at least have some data points on the young guys even if Christie has been stingy with real opportunity game to game. That's more important because there isn't a guaranteed savior in this draft. Going into the offseason with the only things known being Westbrook and DeMar can still play at a high level individually isn't doing jack.

Probably haha. No doubt though, they're going into their locker room feeling like choads.

What’s crazy is Chicago couldn’t get a single team to trade for Derozan or Lavine and somehow this dumbass franchise ended up with both

And next year after we draft the midget who is the worst defensive prospect of all time we’re not gonna have another top 5 pick as we run those old heads to the ground.

It was an exciting game. I wish something was actually on the line, apart from draft position.

The team played cohesive basketball at both ends of the floor, except in that chaotic third quarter. It's the brand of basketball I was expecting in October or November, not April.

The vets that Coach Christie put on the floor most of the season never meshed, even after bringing in not one, but two new point guards in Schroeder and Westbrook. The flip side is that whenever four or five of the youngsters were on the floor together, they actually played well together. But they were unseasoned. Now that Raynaud and Clifford have a whole season of experience, along with a couple of months for Carter and Cardwell, the young players, plus Achiuwa and Plowden, actually look decent.

I am trying to look on the bright side here, after such an unmitigated disaster in October, November, December, and the first week of January. It was hard to take for the fans and especially the players.

I think their ideal scenario was forcing Doug to take drastic measures to secure the L and then calling us out again to see if they can get us fined and cost us a draft pick or two on top of it. With Kerr and Dray on that side I wouldn't put anything past them. Steph could have beaten us single-handily if he cared. Clearly he did not.

That doesn't mean the Kings aren't also better with Carter, Reynaud, and Cardwell on the floor then they ever were with Dennis, Russ, Zach, and DeMar. Shame it took this team all season to realize it. Will this carry over into next season or will the guys we want to see getting minutes just get pushed aside again for a new round of journeyman vet signings? I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

I hope Draymond whining ass goes and complains on his podcast about losing to this group of actively tanking losers.

I've been pro tank just about the entire season, but I just can't get mad about the kids beating the Warriors.

**** Steph, **** Draymond, **** Kerr, **** their bandwagon dead-eyed, barely paying attention on their phones the entire game techie drone gentrified fans.

Now let's lose out haha
