Mister Slim Says: Twenty-three more games of this.

Sacramento can do no better than tie the regular season series against any western conference opponent, save two: the New Orleans Pelicans and, astonishingly, the Houston Rockets. Beyond all probability, the Kings have the opportunity to clinch the regular season series 3-1 with a win tonight. In fact, this is the only series against a western conference opponent that the Kings are guaranteed not to lose: regardless of tonight's outcome, they will at least tie the Rockets. And since Houston is motivated to both stay ahead of Denver for third in the conference and not lose a series to a bottom feeder, expect them to not take the Kings lightly.

Kings avoid a winless month of February by the hairs on their chinny-chin-chin, but had to deploy heavy minutes to veterans Westbrook and Achiuwa to pull it off. Hopefully, we've seen enough of that for the remainder of the season.

Keep playing the kids.

Can't see how we possibly pull off another W with KD and Smith Jr. but I guess stranger things have happened

Jabari turning it up and playing like a star after those KD burner leaks where he called him mentally challenged might be the funniest thing to come from those leaks other than him calling Russ a “triple double Cocaine Bear”

It would have happened sooner or later, and Jump was not even the first hard rock song I remember, but it's the first Van Halen that fully entered my stream of consciousness and it changed something in me. So had to go with that one.

I’m good with not seeing Westbrook logging Big minutes but I’m not sure the alternative to plain precious is at this stage. It’s not like we’ve got some young forwards waiting for their chance and I assume he is someone we can expect to play big minutes next season with the squad

Domantas Sabonis - OUT FOR SEASON (back)

I thought it was KNEE surgery? 🤣
Ask any accident attorney and they will tell you that joints are difficult to collect on because x-rays tend to be definitive but soft tissue damage… well let’s just say judges don’t like to make a decision there so I don’t think the league would want to either.

Didn’t realize Van Halen was so popular and…pivotal? Wikipedia says they’re “credited with restoring hard rock to the forefront of the music scene” but doesn’t suggest what it was restored from. What was at the forefront prior? Seems like the board really needed them.

Not the first time I've been surprised by which poll option received the most enthusiastic response.

We may see a lot of Eubanks tonight, since Raynaud will have his hands full with Şengün. Alternatively, Doug Christie may go small and fast. It really helps that Thompson and VanVleet are out. We need strong performances again from Westbrook and Clifford.

I hope for a bounce-back game from Mr. Monk. Last game was a night not to remember.

Russell with 80% of the Kings' points. That means the ball is not moving. Houston, on the other hand, is passing well, and shooting 50% as a result.

On the one hand I don’t need to see the Russ show. On the other hand, I know it’s making Ime Udoka furious which I do enjoy.

Doug Christie has got to go. I get the Westbrook revenge tour, but this is the part of the season when you start building an offensive system with the young guys. Not stand there with a stupid look on your face while Russ shows who the alpha is on the Kings bench. Terrible. This is yet another year where the Kings will build NOTHING into the next season. Nothing.
