He's roughly 16% of the salary cap next season. Perfectly acceptable for a very good starting level wing, if that's what he caps out at.

Now if we were paying him Paolo/Jalen Williams/Chet Money? Sure, that's where you can throw a fit.

If he gets his shooting back. A very good starting wing who is a well below average shooter?

‘Very good’ for me wings, like Trey Murphy play both sides of the ball

He’s going to need to round out offensively, and hopefully soon

Very good means you are good at both sides of the ball

I'm perfectly fine giving him a pass for this season. Hurt all year and now stepping back into a complete crap-show with a team in disarray. I'd love to see a 40% finish from 3 like he did the last 40 games of last year, but I understand why if he doesn't.

I know yall are a prisoner of small sample sizes around here, but he gave real proof to close last season (270 attempts, 44 games at 38%) that his shot WAS indeed back. And unfortunately just had a lost year this season due to injuries.

Not sure we should be using numbers from THIS season where the Kings have been a mess and Keegan has been injured/coming off of injury and trying to regain form for most of his playing time as any indication of how he actually is as a player.
The problem is his 3pt has regressed every season. I am not sure you can blame on injury.

Murphy happens to be one of the five.

Everything is relative: Murray is in the Top 25 percent of productivity in his salary range. That's as close to "very good" as makes no difference.

With Devin Carter out and Killian Hayes literally having only been on the team for like five hours, I’m honestly shocked Russ only played 33 minutes considering Malik was just unplayable bad in the first half.

What a sourpuss.

The streak had to end at some point and the young guys still all contributed in a big way, even if it wasn't as the leading scorer.

I would like for their to be a somewhat coherent team on the floor next year that still likes basketball. That's kind of a difficult if they're trying to get a 35 game losing streak off their back.

As I said after the 4-game win streak; this team isn't going to win very many games to close the year, it's fine and almost needed to see a W more than once a month. As long as the rooks/Plowden/Carter when he's back are getting a majority of the run, you live with the result.

Kings need to seriously get up to the 2nd worst slot. DO NOT WANT A 47% chance of PICK 5! Might as well have a slight chance of 6 because there probably isn't much of a difference at that point. Lets get some more W's!

If Keegan had enough games played to be eligible for the leader boards, he would be in a three-way tie with Rudy Gobert and Scottie Barnes for 8th in the league at 1.6 blocks per game. It sure would be nice to see him knock down shots at the same clip he did in his rookie season, but that was in a functional offense where he was the 4th or 5th option not what we have now.

And he has added a new skill to his repertoire every year. Year one: three-point sniper. Year two: perimeter stopper. Year three: strong secondary rebounder. And now in year 4: shot-blocking specialist. Can he put all of that together at once? I don't see why not. We need him to stay healthy and stay aggressive. If he can do that, I think his game will speak for itself.

No he may not be Kawhi Leonard but Kawhi has an argument for being the best player in the league. There are several levels of great below that which are still worthy of a 4th overall pick.
