Domas 6 fouls, JV 4 or 5??? Doesn't matter. Point is - they both don't need to kiss reffs arses and plead not to call a foul.
Another funny thing. In Lithuania, basketball federation or people, I don't know exactly how things are now, nominate "The best national basketball player of the year"'. For many years it was JV, lately it was Domas. JV for Domas is a "big brother". And you know, in the family, between the brothers, there is always plenty of competition. "Anything you do - I can do better".
Guys, JV is 32 years old. Does he play like a bench player? Talking heads were blabbering about "rim protection". JV protects the paint :)
 
Shows the levels there are in the NBA. Alex Len was a perfectly fine end of bench/emergency big, but Jval is a starting level talent that we have the luxury of bringing off the bench. And he hasn't even gotten going with his offense yet. Screens are devastating, he's been much better as a rim protector than expected over the last few games. Just gives you a level of size and physicality the Kings haven't had in a long time+tremendous offensive skill.

Pels were dumb to let him go. If he were still on the Pels that game ends differently.

The Kings have been an elite defensive rebounding team for the past 3 years, top DRB% last year, 3rd so far this year.

The current lineup is about as good as it gets for rebounding.

I don’t mind it - Sabonis just needs to get back to his confident, willingness to shoot it from everywhere.
 
The previous offaeason it was Olympiakos fans that were hoping for Sasha to be released, this time its Panathinaikos fans (their rivals) that have "inside" info that Jonas will somehow become a free agent because the Kings are looking to "get rid of his heavy contract" and will trade or release him. Last year somehow it happened due to Sasha's desire to return to Europe but this year there is no indication that Jonas wants to do the same, he was a regular player in rotation, has Domas next to him, its not his rookie season, there is no other center in the roster besides Sabonis. Ah and its only fans saying so, no reporter has posted something. "He also has only 1 year left cause his 3rd year is not fully guaranteed bla bla bla" and if I try to inform them that neither Jonas nor Kings are going for a "divorce" they encourage me to "search better" and not just "google". Ofc all those guys dont even watch NBA are not aware of the contracts value, what it takes to be released etc etc.

Then I wouldn’t worry.
 
Hope we get to revisit some of these lineups. I don't care what anyone says, any team in the WESTERN conference losing their best player for 15 + games during one of the toughest stretches of the season is going to be screwed. I can't definitively say LaVine is an awful fit here or any of the other narratives going around, outside of DeMar being an experiment that just didn't work out and that's OK.
