Well, got to see a few minutes of garbage time of the the unit that should be getting mins. Ah well.

Cardwell really has to stop immediately looking away from the rim, he's been set up a few times right near the basket and he automatically turned around and passed back out.

It's a work in progress. He's looking to set guys up with inside out passing, while he gains confidence in practice with those shots. I don't mind it at all right now

No better time to gain confidence than garbage time. It's means nothing anyway.
There is a value and lost art in players who know their limitations and don't try to force it. He is really efficient right now with his strengths and identity... and it has earned him respect and more playing time. It means a lot and might just have earned him a full contract here coming up soon as well

Yeah, but if he's within 3 feet of the rim on pick and roll that's the play. It's those kind of things that at some point keep guys like him off the floor. He's been doing great in his role but that's where the gap is right now. I'm sure they'll tell him that when they watch the game video. He's almost like a clone of Chuck Hayes out there but at some point Hayes got that shot. I'm sure Cardwell will too. He seems to have decent touch.

Right now we have a young big with good shooting touch and another one who is an efficient defender, rebounder, and passer. Could be a lot worse in that regard....and both have the character and professionalism to put in the work to improve

Do you think the Kings even need Jonathan Kuminga? I am beginning to wonder.

I'd rather get a starting caliber 4, so that Murray can move back to the 3, instead of bringing in another small forward like Kuminga. I'm also not convinced that Kuminga would be any more valuable overall towards a winning starting lineup than Achuiwa would be....and obviously a lot more expensive.

Some want to just lump all "wings" in together and not differentiate between the 3-4 spots. I'm not there, but it looks like that's what Perry wants to do

I commend you all for watching this game and getting up to four pages on this thread. You are all better fans than me.
The surveys / polls and related discussions is a method to fill game reaction space. Why else would the poll be pasted on every page? It seems the actual discussion of the game only takes two pages or so nowadays. Run a poll in its own thread and see how the dedicated game thread performs. A GAME discussion should be about the GAME.

Those past days when there were 20+ pages of a game thread were quite entertaining. No filler needed. But these are different times.

Because the software does not provide the ability for the poll to only be visible on one page.

EDIT - Also, there were 109 posts in this thread before yours, and only four of them had anything to do with the poll. On top of that, this game tipped off at noon California time, on an NFL Championship Sunday; there's no scenario in which this game would have gotten a lot of comments.

An opinion, of course.
