Mister Slim Says: Sacramento hopes to keep the party going and close out a successful homestand with a win versus Golden State. The Kings and the Warriors are two teams that have been moving in different directions the last two seasons, but as long as they still have Steph Curry and Draymond Green, they're going to continue to create matchup problems for the Kings. The good news on that front is that Green has been ruled out for tonight's game, as has Kings Killer™ Slo-Mo Anderson. If Sacramento continues to show the intensity that they have under Christie, and not "play down" to their opponent, they'll hopefully get a chance to rest their key players in the fourth quarter, ahead of a huge back-to-back in Denver tomorrow.

Went with JT in the poll. My reasoning is as follows: For the categories of minutes, points, 3PTM, assists, steals I could have guessed by about the third attempt, the right answer (if I didn't know it already). For the category of blocks, Causwell was before my time as a kings fan and I would not have guessed him. But for games played, well, I was a fan of the team from before JT was drafted and still wouldn't have pegged him at the team games-played leader. So good show for JT!

It's on ESPN so I will be unable to watch this one live. Play-by-play, here I come.

For once, there are no players on the injury list for the Kings.

I wonder if GS is missing Klay Thompson more than they thought they would?

Technically no. Came to school at Davis (from SoCal) in '92, had too much else to do in college to follow sports (I did attend a dreadful preseason/exhibition game between the Kings and possibly the Warriors that was held at the UCD Recreation Hall in either '92 or '93 that further discouraged me from looking into the team).

I finally caught on with the team at the end of the '97-'98 season, just in time for the Webber trade and you know the rest.

Good timing! But I actually meant the KF.com forum legend the Causinator. Admittedly, a deep cut…

I thought Causwell only played a few seasons with us but I went back and it was 7 or 8?!?

He was one of the guys I saw the most when I got to use my mom's tickets.

Ah yes, Duane Causwell. He was part of the draft class in which the Kings had 4 first round draft picks. L-Train, Lionel Simmons, Travis Mays, Anthony Bonner and Big Causie. I would never have guessed that he was the Sacramento era leader in blocks.

I can't watch it either as I don't have ESPN on my cable package. I hate not getting to see games!
