I'm not sure what Washington would want with Brad. They're a running/transition team that already struggles with defense, I don't see how Brad would really help them. If Brad is going to be traded it will be to a half-court oriented team. That is not Washington, let alone the fact that they're giving up a first rounder.

And I think Portland would probably rather let Magloire's contract just expire rather than take Washington's pu pu platter.

So, Washington ends up with Brad Miller?

Brad might be too slow to play with Washington. And I don’t' think Portland wants anything to do with Haywood because he's been known to have a bad attitude.

Washington can break and they usually do between Arenas, Stevenson, Butler and Jamison....Brad wouldn't necessarily NEED to fill any transition lanes. Also, in the halfcourt set is where Washington improves their offense. Brad sets some of the best damn screens in the league. This would help free up Arenas to do his thing. Also, Washington runs a lot of princeton/corner sets which Brad is the best center in the league at running. This would open up the baseline and cutting lanes in the middle and allow, especially Butler and Arenas to cut and be the beneficiary of attacking the rim, or the recipient of a Brad dime.

Well in that case, why don't the Kings just hold onto him rather than giving him away for an expiring and a late draft pick?
