Mister Slim Says: Now free of the burden of the "We Gettin' Arab Money" Cup, the Kings take aim at a chance to get back above .500 for the first time since November 18, as they kick off a five-game homestand against the former champion Denver Nuggets. With one of the least experienced officiating crew the Kings have had this season (at least since I started keeping track) presiding over the game. Kings are going to need to be locked in for forty-eight minutes (possession after possession, after possession...) because their margin for error is going to be super-low against a squad that comes into town with two former MVPs. Sacramento will be counting on a hopefully rejuvenated home crowd to energize them at the Eagle.

Big big game. Kings saved their season with their latest 4-1, 5-game stretch, but here's where you start to make some headway vs teams that are going to be in our range of the playoffs. Currently just 1.5 game back of the Nuggets, who are the 5 seed and we're the current' 12 seed. It's very likely that tie-breakers matter at the end of the year; have to get these ones, especially at home.

The Kings played Denver tough last season, winning three of four. Let's hope the addition of DeMar DeRozan and Malik Monk to the starting lineup this year leads to the same results. If Kevin Huerter does not play, the team needs production from the bench.

Confused but why is Huerter out? Was this a game injury I wasn't paying close attention to? Soreness from the surgery shoulder? Portland was a slip on the court and ankle iirc.

Sore shoulder sustained in a collision during the last game. Yes, it is the same one that was surgically repaired.

And now Keegan Murray is listed as a "game-time decision." So is Jamal Murray.

All this time off and we have more injuries than last game? lol, man Mike B needs to tone down the practices some
Kev got hurt in the last game and ankles are pretty much the easiest part of the body to injure even doing mundane things completely unrelated to basketball. I’d understand if we came out of the days off with a Pelicans list of injuries but literally all that happened was a guy who got hurt in the last game is out and Keegan’s ankle is sore so he might not play.

For anyone here who has NBA League Pass, do you get the home town announcers on the home games? Just wonder what announcers you get when watching kings games on there? I know you can't watch them live, but I mean 3 days later. Anyone know?

i don't know if it's different (since I am not in USA) but i watch with Kings announcers live via League Pass.

Also Braun won't play for the Nuggets according to fantasy sites that just posted it.

That's good, because Braun is exactly the type of player who tends to go off on the Kings.
