Fox fluffed his chances so bad that they thought Vassell could do better. Doing things by committee when Wemby is out can have its drawbacks. That’s on the Spurs for not getting him the ball there.

See, that's the difference between being a bus driver and a bus rider.41 years old. Respect LeBron, respect.
Edit: And the Rockets suck.
Well, not if you ignore the PG position when everyone knows they need a PG4 straight lottery years and look at the Rockets now. The draft ain't a sure bet at all smh yikes
Vassell is by far a better shooter than Fox so I get that. And Portland has so many defenders that can switch on Fox and just bait him to shoot 3s. Fox gonna keep having a tough time getting any separation when it’s Camara, Holiday, Thybulle on him so without Wemby there drawing help defense it’ll be interesting to see what Spurs do. Yeah but things will be much better when they have thirty something year old Fred Van Vleet coming off of a major leg injury starting for them next season!Vassell is by far a better shooter than Fox so I get that. I mean...If you're gonna hate on SGA in that instance, at least get your facts straight...That was not an "and one" - it was two free throws. So can the guys that always have something to say about sga explain to me how Booker gets an offensive foul for that and the next play it’s an and one for sga

Because he's being assaulted by Dort on every single possessionWhy is Booker playing like a third option behind Green and Brooks?
What’s hating about pointing out officiating bias is everything hating if you’re not sick riding someone.
Is it hating to say this is supposed to be an offensive foul especially when it was called on brooks five minutes later
Sooooo...the plays in question did NOT happen on back-to-back possessions as you initially indicated??? Gotcha (by the way, I was just a bit confused, and that's why I seeked clarification...It wasn't done to call you out....)
Suns challenged this crap and the “refs” said that’s an unnatural shooting motion from Booker in what world is that unnatural and that sga play was literally the very next play in the game. Surely sga shoots like that naturally though
Naturally shooting motion by Chet
Booker must be a ref hater

If you remove your SGA-bias, you might actually be surprised to know that this has been happening around the league for many years, and not just when it comes to SGA. And, because of that, I've learned that it serves my best basketball viewing interest to not get too worked up over that kind of stuff (heck, if it were a player on the Kings, I'd love to see it, to be perfectly honest with you - and so would you!!!!!!!)...I just accept that this is a shooter's league, and the shooter/offensive player will get the benefit of the doubt most of the time, and I move on.
You might be wondering why I tend to call you out on your SGA-hate so much, but it's not that I have an issue with you hating on SGA. It's just that, to me, you're hating on the wrong person. SGA gets the calls he gets because the system allows it, and he just knows how to play the system. Don't hate on SGA. Hate the system (i.e. Adam Silver). If the system doesn't change, you will be hating all your life (because I guarantee you that someone will come in after SGA with the same mindset and approach).
Also, yes, I do absolutely hate the system.
I don't think SGA started it. It's been going on well before SGA came into the league. Again, it is all because of the system that has been put into place, and has been allowed to put into place.I think SGA started it but know a lot of players are doing it Brown really wasn’t using that move two years ago now he’s constantly using. My problem with sga (and seams like most of the nba community) is sga does it regularly with no calls. Now compound that with OKC defensive whistle Dort and Caruso foul religiously and don’t get called for. They way they were allowed to defend Murray and Jokic last year was an outrages either let both teams play defense or don’t
You may be thinking about another sequence that happened earlier in the game. Because I went back to the box score and checked the play-by-play, and, based on when your initial message was posted, I couldn't find a back-to-back-sequence.I’m pretty sure that Booker/SGA foul incident happen back to back after the suns called for a review
Before ish went down I was excited that maybe DDR could teach Fox a thing or two about getting a whistle. If you aren't bringing Draymond into this conversation about fouls and refs you are doing it wrong.
DDR has been foul baiting for years offensively. He gets those little bumps in the chest when going up for a midrange shot and gets foul calls all the time.
It happens. It's not right, but it happens.
Fox seems set in his ways. There’s been hardly any evolution in his game the last few seasons, but hey he got paid. Going to be interesting in the 2028 season when Wemby will be paid the max and Castle will prolly look for a max contract. Fox’s contract is going to look way worse than LaVine’s.Before ish went down I was excited that maybe DDR could teach Fox a thing or two about getting a whistle.
Anyways, Foxy is complaining about his whistle vs. Portland. I'm happy to observe from afar, while I halfheartedly root for my adopted home's team.
I don't disagree, especially if he continues shooting 3s when he is frustrated for not getting a whistle when he drives.Fox seems set in his ways.
