I think we’re also seeing with the Thompson Twins that at a certain point being an ultra elite 99th percentile athletic defensive beast doesn’t mean much in playoff games when you’re completely useless offensively. Amen is at least semi-capable with the ball in his hands but Ausar has been the opposite version of Reed Sheppard.

Good. I get how DDR is certainly flawed at his older age, but dude can still get a bucket with the best of them. That MATTERS in the playoffs, as DET is finding out right now.

Poor man's Shawn Marion's I never got the hype with them they are glorified garbage men with good D good for the regular season but no real game changers unless they are on a elite team in the playoffs.

To me WCJ is a top 5 defender out of all bigs and his one on one d might be the best in the NBA.

Paulo has been great in his playoff career despite having one quality shooter in basically his entire career with him in Bane, he's not getting owned by the likes of Tristian Thompson and Looney in the playoffs. if it's not this year's pick I would do Paulo and 3 firsts for Sabonis any day, pairing Paulo with Wilson or Aj or even Peterson would be way better than pairing them with Sabonis, Murray and Paulo fit great also.

27ppg 40% from. 3 on 5.5 attempts, nearly 9fta per game ,8.6rpg and 4.8apg whole being on offensively challenged teams with consistent injury problems blows anything Sabonis has done out of the water.

If you look aside from Jokic and even he recently has been getting exposed badly in some playoffs games all the skilled playmaking no defense Cs have been getting outplayed in the playoffs look at Sengun/Sabonis.
