Really hate to give Calvin Booth credit at anything but I can really see what he was doing when he tried to trade MPJ (and I'm assuming one of their young guys) for Zach Lavine.

depends how they are allowed to defend Caruso having one fouls is absurd

Yeah, but it's a long time known thing, you can play physical in the playoffs. Handsy defenders suffer. Trying to just go for steals and aimlessly swatting at balls come playoff time is hit and miss. Some games players play 30 minutes, another? 10.

He also might have been right on letting Brown And KCP go in favor of more time for Braun and the young guys. They are still short on depth by a player or two but Holmes would have helped with that had he not got injured.

Well regardless of how this game ends, the Nuggets should absolutely be thinking of wholesale roster changes (despite having no tradable picks at all) this summer but their GM is also currently their owner.

The thing is how? The only really valuable contract is probably Gordon at this point. Teams that are so stacked at the top like that probably have to take a step back and clear some cap but that means losing talent to do so.

They should probably be looking at next year as a gap year and try unloading MPJ/Murray for expirings/whatever they can to lighten the load.

With a bunch of teams looking to 'superteam' up this summer, there are probably deals they could make.

It’s said the owner won’t allow a Porter trade cause he went to Missouri

The Giannis situation will interesting because that could be the future of Jokic too. The only way the Bucks can justify their situation is convincing Giannis to do the same wait game that Jokic might have to. Murray is a good player but paying him 50-60 a season could be hard to unload. And it should be, he's not worth it. And people think LaVine is on a bad contract, lol.

Aaron Gordon apparently the greatest defender in the league because without him healthy this Nuggets team looks like the 2021 Kings on defense.

Well, Perry better not say one thing and do another. Just about close to being the last 4 teams all top 8 in defensive rating this postseason. Nuggets were 10th and the odd one out in a game 7. The two teams out in the West? 1 and 2. Yeah, I'd say defense matters.

Denver legit has a worse roster than us they just happen to have Jokic who needs to leave that dumpster fire. Watson, Westbrook, and strawther as your bench players maxing out Murray after his play all season and in the Olympics.
