that second quarter last night was insane and represented all the reasons because of which the Spurs are my favourite team whenever playoff time rolls around. still sad to see Kawhi play at the level he's already arrived at, but awesome at the same time. also, Tiago Splitter is earning his paycheque. for all the ridicule following his Finals performance and the contract he signed afterwards, the Spurs don't survive the West without him.

Spurs are a fricking machine!

Everything is done with focused purpose, no nonsense, no freelance, just execution, execution, execution. Most of rest of NBA looks like bunch of jive gloried street ballers compared to well-oiled machine San Antonio.

If you love basketball, the way it should be played at any level you can't help but admire how Pop dissects an opponent with almost any group of players he choses to throw out there for another W.

Was anyone else impressed with Will Barton who could be a potential back up SG for us or along with Shumpert if we decide to develop one Ben Mclemore?

This one is over. Kawhi Leonard is turning into Scottie Pippen right in front of my eyes.

I remember that Petrie was very high on Kawhi.
Then on draft day, the Maloofs jud pissed on that by drafting Jimmer.
I don't hate Jimmer, but we could have gotten Klay, Kawhi, or even Vucevic on that draft night.

he's been one of my very favourite players for a very long time. I wanted the Kings to draft him, not even close to anticipating how good he'd be. aside from his incredible defence and rebounding, it's his demeanour that impresses me more than anything. when he had that massive dunk over Mike Miller in the Finals and didn't even flinch...just awesome. perfectly unflappable.

let's hope Parker recovers in time for the WCF. really want this team to go to the Finals again.
