Teams are set... Im rooting for the Astros. Their pitching is amazing and just shut down the World Series favorite Cardinals with no problem.

No brainer, its the astros. Both teams can pitch though, astros having the playoff ready pitchers.

I was originally rooting against Houston to make it to the Series, mostly because I'm not a big fan of Clemens. But now that I remember Biggio and Bagwell, and the fact that it's the Astros first ever World Series, I'm happy they made it.

**** the Sox. I will even suck it up and root for Clemens who I hate, strangely more than I utterly, wholely and completely despise Pierzinsky. Actually I won't root for Clemens, I'll root for everybody but Clemens.

What is everyone's take on the league's ruling of making the Astros keep their dome open???
They say they want it open so the blimp can get shots from above, but this also takes away from the Astros homefield advantage (noise levels). Personally, I think Selig has crossed the line with this decision by taking away from a definite advantage.

I felt like I was watching a circa 2000-2003 Oakland A's post season game last night. Except the A's would have made one or two boneheaded plays defensively or on the base paths just to add to their ineptitude with men on base or worse, men on base IN FREAKING SCORING POSITION or worse MEN ON FREAKING BASE IN FREAKING SCORING POSITION WITH LESS THAN TWO FREAKING OUTS.....
To add to my misery the Gatorade commercial which played "what if" of the freakin' "The Flip" play or as A's fans affectionately refer to as "Slide, Jeremy Slide" play from game 3 of the 2001 ALDS - thanks! ::sigh:: I will say that momentarily I got a warm fuzzy seeing that tag miss him but realized that I was only being set up to have that fuzzy snatched away. Kudos tho to the ad folks who designed that, that was a very well done ad.

dye winning MVP was a little surprsing, but once i saw his overall BA, it was a no brainer.
