Ticha is sitting only (9) assists from setting a WNBA milestone of 2000 assists!!! She has 1991 assists as of Saturday a.m. August 30th:D

She also needs only two additional steals to reach 650 steals...both could happen in one night. Let it be tonight during the "Women of Inspiration" celebration at ARCO!

She is the league all-time leader in BOTH assists and steals. That is inspirational, and a record to not likely be broken for some time, if ever:D

Ticha got 6 assists (but no steals) in only 18 minutes of play Saturday night, Aug 30th. So she needs only 3 assists to reach her new plateau of 2000 assists.

If she plays on Friday, in Phoenix, she would probably hit it there. Maybe they will hold her out because of her shoulder. Then we would see the milestone next Sunday, Sep 7th.

YAY! Congrats to Ticha!!

Amazing. IMO, she'll be the career assist leader for a while...

'cause she's not done yet!!!!!

With them going 0-578,325 in the first quarter or so of that game, I was figuring she might have to get it at home on Sunday....:D


Congratulations Ticha, truly the league's best point guard ever...either side of the ball. It's been a pleasure watching you night in/night out these last 11 years...simply a pleasure.

I say you stick around until you reach 3K....and over take VJ in career rebounds by a guard...oh, and hit quadruple digits in steals...;)

Congratulations, Ticha, for hitting that 2,000 plateau!

Second place (currently held by Pee Wee Johnson) on the all-time career assists record isn't even close!
