I'm in my mid 30's and growing up I hated the Spurs. They were too good, always won, and I was an underdog guy. Little did I know I missed out out on some of the most beautiful basketball around. Now I'm that old guy screaming at the clouds "swing the ball around, pass up anopen shot for a better shot!" Craaaazy...

The Spurs team that decimated Lebron James and the Miami Heat in 2014 was beautiful basketball

Gotta admit, I’ve been pretty disappointed in Nique Clifford so far.

I think he has only had one good game as a pro. He’s a rookie but you still expect a 4 year college player with an NBA ready body to show a bit more.

Frankly, Colby Jones looked better by quite a bit in his initial NBA games 😬

He's gotten pushed into the rookie Devin Carter window. Play 3 minutes and if you don't light up the world you sit. The thing is, he's not even close to the per 48's or on/off impact Devin had last year in far less overall minutes. Perry, you're missing some major boats on this one bud.

Just like with Keon, not going to be many minutes to play when Deebo and Zach are both eating 36+ minutes of playing time a night.

When did Nique play?

I wonder if the Jazz would consider a buy at the deadline. They have a ton of assets and could prob look for a deal that doesn’t hurt their development. Just say eff it to that pick to the Thunder and be done with it.

He looked great in SL, I think it's just a confidence thing.

Hopefully if/when we ship out the vets Doug gives him and Carter more minutes and more leash.

Are we leaning towards Perry being in charge of playing time and that these are not Christie's choices?

They have to at some point one would expect. If a team gives them 4 picks for Lauri then good for Ainge but the only real path is the other way. They also aren't really able to showcase their young guys the way they play so it's not likely they'll explode into a major cornerstone trade piece. They'll have to settle at some point.
