95% of players will sign with a team that pays them the most. Am I missing the human element in that?
Just as easily, the Kings could have offered Tyreke a 4/$36 million deal. NO counter offers and then Tyreke sees the Kings original offer as a slap in the face. How's that a human element...
Why would the FO make the first move and offer a contract when they can simply match any deal? It makes no sense to make the first offer when they have the right to match any contract offered and see what the market for Evans is before overpaying him.
Maybe the FO has shyed away from overpaying Tyreke because of his injury history? I think that's certainly something you have to consider when deciding how much he is worth given the type of style he plays.
If anything there is too much analysis going on in this thread. Mullin is being tied as a potential consultant, and the first thing people think of is the Kings focusing on small-ball as their primary offensive weapon.
Grant can go. Sticking up for your bosses because it's the company line I understand, but denigrating callers with opposing viewpoints to the company line is pathetic. You can defend your bosses without chastising callers.
Of course they hate the fans of Sacramento. It's the fans who wouldn't give them an arena on a silver platter free of charge.
Hasn't it been evident that the Maloofs have been against Sacramento every step of the way?
Not to mention the reason why the committee denied relocation is because Sac had a viable arena plan ready. If they approve a sale to Hansen, everything would have to be redone from scratch because he won't accept the current arena deal for obvious reasons.
Boy, Chris Daniels is showing Maloof-like qualities by wanting the sale to Ballmer to be approved so he purposely sabotage the city to bring the NBA back to Seattle. Absolutely disgusting
