There is plenty of talent to go around in the WNBA. Just watch New York play anybody. Las Vegas is also fun to watch. It is not just teams like Indiana, they still have a losing record.
Timme was dominant at Gonzaga and could take over games. In the summer league he seems slow afoot and a little late with everything he does. Skilled but not quick enough.
I was watching the Kings' summer league team last night, 7/9 against the Hornets. All I saw was one on one moves. I turned it off. The WNBA moves the ball well, pushes and plays fast. They have some really talented big women. I like it more than I thought I would.
I watched his brother play at the U of Washington. Jayden has always been an immature punk with emotional problems. He has started to grow up. Now we get his brother with sexual assault issues. Not my favorite family.
Character matters. Just ask the Celtics.
Not just a great player, a wonderful mentor, evaluator of talent, coach and everything you want in a front office person. He will be missed by a lot of players that have nothing but respect for Mr. West. One great human being.
The Celtics appeared to be dominant and even somewhat invincible for the first 3 games. What happened? Did they start reading their press clippings? They did just get mentally worn out? Dallas displayed some new found intensity. Where was it the first three games?
Something does not add up...
Professional sports are not for everyone. The NFL stands for Not For Long.
American society struggles with racism and sexual identity. It is not CC's problem, so much as it is a societal problem.
She has created great interest in the League and the other players need to realize that she is...
The Celtics are a great defensive team. They run the floor and have an i impressive bench. They rely on the 3 more than almost any other team. They don't turn the ball over and a great passing team. Everything you want in a championship team. It took them awhile to find all of the pieces...
In some ways I prefer watching the WNBA to the NBA. The Celtics have turned into a 3 point shooting contest.
The women play a more traditional mid range game. They pass well. They are easier to look at.
Anyone that has played serious basketball at an open gym learns that the game is mental warfare. The WNBA has toughened up and now they need to grow up. Two things need to happen. Clark's teammates need to show up for her and more physical. She needs to do the same thing. Then the officials...
Holy Cow. The Celtics dominated. They made Luka play some defense. They were opportunistic doubling him on defense. The Celtics are a good defensive team and deep. They love the three and have good finishers. Luka may not be enough. Where was Irving?
I still think these games are fairly...
Luka and Irving seem invincible. But so are Tatum and Brown. This will be guard dominated series. Some switching and double teaming seems like a good idea. That means some of the supporting casts will need to step up.
Talented teams. They both play pretty fast and love to shoot the 3. They leave the middle open. But I get tired of 3 point shots and layups and little else. Modern basketball has de-evolved. Too much one on one play. But players like Luka, Tatum and Brown as really skilled. The Celtics...
Edwards and Towns have not been very impressive against a quality team like the Mavs.
Doncic and Irving have played some clutch minutes to close out games and have shown their experience.
To think that the Kings had a shot at Luka, and chose Bageley instead.
I have been impressed by all of...
The Kings have turned their team around since Mike Brown showed up. That makes acquiring new players via trade or free agency much easier in a small market like Sacto. I don't see the Kings play all the time, but my gut feeling is that upgrades from Heurter and/or Barnes that can play better...
