    [NBA] East Playoffs, Round Two

IMHO, the Kings would have had a pretty good chance of beating the Pels in a 7 game series if Zion, BI and CJ were all out.

Hali and Indiana must have that Voodoo dolls working overtime. How lucky can one playoff team get. First Giannis, Lillard, and Middleton Out or injured. Now, OG, Randle, Robinson and Bogdanovic out. Can’t get much better room service than that to the Easter conference finals

[KINGS] Comments that don't warrant their own thread (Redux)

I'm getting the feeling that Keegan is going to hit the 3 (#3 pick that is) for us this Sunday. ;)

Yup, TD was like a Monk-lite on the court, he could go off for like 30 pts out of nowhere. It's crazy how Duarte offensive game just fell off a cliff after his rookie year. I seriously winced every time MB put Duarte on the court.

That’s another move that backfired on Monte. Trading assets for Chris Duarte instead of just re-signing TD on a cheap contract.

“RUN IT BACK!” / Monte needs to fix this.

Yeah, last year K-Von would of had better value in a trade. However, shooting is at a premium in the NBA and some GMs may view Huerter as just needing a change of scenery/fresh start somewhere else to rejuvenate his stroke. I think he will still have some trade value due to his good shooting...

[KINGS] Comments that don't warrant their own thread (Redux)

The Kings actually re-signed HB a day or 2 before free agency even began, so they never really tried to sign someone else. Maybe Monte did it after Naz Reid re-signed early with the Wolves? But Monte never tested the waters

“RUN IT BACK!” / Monte needs to fix this.

Looking at this years playoffs, 2 of the 3 top teams in the West finished #8 (Minnesota) and #9 (OKC) in last years playoff race. They were able to use that experience and re-focused and grew to dominate this season. The Kings have hope, they weren't far off. The Kings need to learn from this...

Kings trade rumor SZN 2023-2024 edition!

Grant Williams is a good target, but I think that the Hornets would be more interested in Kevin Huerter than Harrison Barnes in this trade scenario. Charlotte likely resigns Bridges to a big contract, so HB would be redundant. They need a shooter.

    KING IN ARABIC

The good news is that Orlando has invested a lot in Jalen Suggs and he is more of a shooting guard than a point guard. Hopefully they see Monk more as a shooting guard than a point. What the Magic really need is a high level point guard to run their offense, IMO they would be better served...

Kings trade rumor SZN 2023-2024 edition!

IMO, that is a lineup that would challenge Denver for the Western conference crown.

Kings trade rumor SZN 2023-2024 edition!

It would be a (wink-wink) package deal of Bronny and LeBron for the #13 pick, otherwise of course no Bronny at #13. And if LeBron falls through, I'm sure the Lakers would give up some nice assets (Vanderbilt or Rui plus a couple of future 1st?) to get Bronny to the Lakers to keep LeBron happy.

Kings trade rumor SZN 2023-2024 edition!

True, but you know the Lakers will try to draft Bronny before the Kings 2nd round pick, so that LeBron stays with them.

Kings trade rumor SZN 2023-2024 edition!

The Lakers are a mess and just fired their coach Darvin Ham and LeBron does not seem happy with the situation in LaLaLand. Maybe the Kings can draft Bronny James at #13 and lure LeBron to Sacramento to reunite with Bronny and Mike Brown! If LeBron wants to play with Bronny bad enough, maybe we...

    Following Potential *2024* Draftees

Yeah, I think Monte would need some offensive skills to pick someone in the lottery, but he could go defense in the 2nd round.

[KINGS] Comments that don't warrant their own thread (Redux)

This is the same Mike Brown the Lakers ran out of town years ago. The LA fans and organization never embraced the down to earth personality of MB the first time, what makes them think anything would be different. The LA fan base needs a flashy coach, they would never embrace MB. I would hope...

Kings trade rumor SZN 2023-2024 edition!

Talent evaluation and good drafting for GMs of small market teams is essential for success. We are not going to be able to lure big name free agents and would have to mortgage the future to try and trade for a big name (who may not even stay after their contract expires). Monte has shown he can...

Well at least Buddy didn't make it out of the first round before D'Aaron and the Kings...... There is some semblance of cosmic order and justice! :p

    [NBA] East Playoffs, Round One

Pacers are lucky they played Milwaukee with their superstar out and their other top 2 players Out or hobbled. Giannis is lucky he won the one title. He is constantly injured and never mans up to play in playoff games when injured. Dude has continually left his team out to fend for themselves...

    KING IN ARABIC

What Monk brings to the table can’t be underestimated and can’t be easily replaced. In a word, he gave the Kings “Swag”. He gave the Kings toughness and fearlessness when the rest of the team was just soft. He was the one player that if the Kings got smashed in the mouth, he would smash back and...
