I really like our top 7 guys this year but the bench falls off a cliff quick. Trey has had a slow start, Len has been alright at best and it’s not much else after that. Hope Monte addresses that because we can’t always count on the top 6-7 to be hitting shots every game.

Some reports linking the Kings to Haywood Highsmith with our MLE. I know he’s a solid wing role player for Miami and improved his three point shot last year a bit. Anyone who knows his game better know if he’d be a nice fit? His stats don’t jump off the page, but doesn’t mean he wouldn’t help us.

Very good third string center or decent backup. Fully accepts his role, knows the system, and seems like a great guy in the locker room. No need to replace him when he’s signing for the minimum!

Admittedly this is the least I’ve know about a draft in years. Heard Carter is good, but why are we drafting a 6’2” when we have four rotation guards guaranteed next year, not even counting Huerter? This only makes sense to me if Davion gets traded now.
