I thought they played excellent in the first half otherwise but the 3s were so bad Houston kept it close. Then in the second half defense was only average to above average and the 3s never recovered.

Suns have a nasty ending schedule against tough teams and a million road games. They're back ahead of us now after this but BBRef has them finishing 8th below Dallas too with the lowest probability of making the playoffs of the three.

In all the previous matchups against these two teams, it wasn't really all that egregious. The opposing FG%, the 2P FG (so I'd assume PitP), and rebounding against the Pelicans stood out a lot more.

If you're bad at 3s you're playing from behind already compared to all other aspects of the game. Thing is, they're NOT bad at 3s. If they were, even if we decided to not shoot many, we'd be sitting at a 30 win season.

Pride means literally nothing with 3 point shooting. Defense and effort but shooting is highly technical and variant. Whether a team goes 6-30 or 18-30 from 3 has basically nothing to do with pride.

Those threes weren't even that good half the time. Feel like those iso contested chucker 3s young players jack up sometimes and they went in. I recall Houston a couple years ago did this to us too.

He's one player and eclipses all three of those guys defensively. I'm not against having one defensive specialist out there but giving all three of them minutes and it's a hard no. He's also better offensively than any of them.
