Scathing Article from Amick on Cousins

Ya, I don't understand the piece. The effort seems to outweigh the actions behind it unless there is something else we are all not privy to.

Scathing Article from Amick on Cousins

I guess I am just a bit confused as t0 why this is even news worthy. A player having an outburst at a heckling fan seems less than shocking. Doesn't seem worthy of Amick's time.

Evans or Gordon may be on the move

Not sure this is anything new. The rumors have always been that they wanted to get rid of Gordon. My guess is that they have found out that no one wants Gordon and they can't afford/don't want to keep both guys.

That's a lot of words for yelling at someone.

    [Grades] Grades v. Grizzlies 1/17/2014

I feel you. I am not a fan of the whistle swallowing that goes on at the end of quarters and games. Some people love it, not me though. What do you think is worse, making a call that isn't there or missing one that is? I havnt thought about it too much but I think the nba prefers missing a call...

Offensive boards that were then shot and blocked = 1. Just incase you wanted to edit that to be accurate before Slim sees it. Only 3 offensive rebounds on the night, too and only 1 of those was off his own shot (which was from a missed Gay shot first).

So you are hopeless. Good to know.

What? What are you trying to say. Scoring two points when you are down by 1 and no time left on the clock is MUCH MORE IMPORTANT than scoring 2 points when the score is 0-0 and 48 minutes left. In one instance you win the game, in the other you still have 48 minutes left to play. You can hope...

That message wasn't to you. It was responding to his comment about what I said being the "biggest fallacy in sports."

Why do starters close out games and not bench players? Because timing is important. If you can't grasp that, you are hopeless, as I said before.

Sure, but we were in that situation. And what you are saying has nothing at all to do with what I said.

Ok? Did you quote the wrong person? What does that have to do with my comment on timing and mistakes being more significant at different times of the game? Cousins gets a shot blocked at the start of the game and doesn't score, you can recover. IT and Rudy don't get a shot off at the very end...

I didn't say one player is to blame, now did I? And if you don't think timing is important in a basketball game you are hopeless.

Timing is important. Cousins problems were not as detrimental as IT and Rudy at the end of the game.

One does not excuse the other. You can have it both ways.

It was a bad pass by IT, and Rudy shouldn't have even been in that area clogging it up.

They don't want to call fouls now... For either team.

Fourth foul on the Grizzlies, things are looking good!
