Looks like we are pretty much a lock for at minimum a play-in home game. Whether we are #9 or #8. Well only if we were the #8 and lose the first away play-in game. We have been a strong team over the last 30 or so (20-10 I think). Over an 82 game season that's a 50+ win team, which is something...
When do you say that enough is enough with Keegan Murray? He has regressed in almost every category after that great rookie season. Do we just let him go for nothing and then sign someone to take his spot? Do we give him more time?
Glad I didn't say farewell on the Fox thread. What a dick move. He never wanted to stay here. We are better without him anyway, and I hope the spurs get this version of Fox, because they aren't winning anytime soon.
Yah Keon when starting is one of the best defensive guards in the league. The guy can shut down people, and hit a three to boot (40%+). 3 and D guy and we should be happy that he will get more minutes. When Fox was gone he was playing lights out, and almost averaging 3 steals a game while...
This is a lie... Do you seriously think the Kings would go into a big trade like this and not know everything they were getting back. Trade has been confirmed, but when I read this I just about busted out laughing.
Teams don't play their game on paper. You don't think the 3pt shooting will help the Kings at all? With Monk and Keon filling in for Fox we were a better team.
We get instantly better at 3pt%. That on its own can help us more than anything else from this trade. Not to mention Keon and Monk will fill in fine, with Carter getting more minutes.
Not happy either about it, but looking at the glass half full hopefully this will help out with our 3pt shooting in a major way. Get Monk more shots, and Keon can hit a couple a game. Devin Carter will get more minutes.. I really like his game. Fox and DeRozan were kinda the same type of player...
The good for the Kings is 3pt shooting, and hoping we don't ruin Sabonis's best years because let us all agree Sabonis is probably the best player to play for the Kings (Sacramento Kings that is). So this will immediately help our 3pt shooting, and teams Lavine has been on always have good home...
Seems this season will be like two seasons ago where the Kings could sneak into a top 6 seed with fewer than 50 wins. Seems there is OKC, then 2-10 all within 5 games of one another. San Antonio was a nice early season surprise but they will probably finish with about 35-40 wins once teams start...
Why were you skeptical? He's a really smart guy, and when he played for the Kings, in his interviews he had a really really high BBall IQ. He understands how to actually rest players too, unlike Brown.
Forgot to say, Devin Carter has looked REALLY good.. Like REALLY REALLY good. I am fine with trading Fox. Sometimes the best team on paper isn't the best team on the court. We have learned this this year. I was thinking a 30 win team, but it could be even better than that!
