    Why is everyone so down on Nocioni? I really like the guy. Four years and $28.4 million is basically MLE money. It's not bad for a player in his prime with his ability.

    Sigma makes a stellar 2.8f 105mm prime that doubles as a macro lens. It could give you some distance and still give you the aperature you need to get enough light for your shutter speed requirements...

    Yeah, I doubt the SX100 would pull that off. What size prime was that? You're really on top of the action.

    Shutter speed was viaried depending on the conditions. Generally around 1/160, 4.5 aperature at ISO 400. That was with zoom fully expected. You could probably get away with 1/320 at a 3.2 aperature without the zoom in that lighting.

    I like the Canon SX100IS a lot. For 95% of shots you'd like to capture it works great. It's also fantastic to have a quality camera that you can take everywhere. I bought an Olympus E-410 (DSLR) for the interchangable lenses and a little better sensitivity to light. I'm yet to capture...
