No one has anything against Barnes. No one hates the Kings just because they’re venting their disappointment about losing. I think most of the “hot takes” in this thread are...
Absolutely. I thought our third quarter was pathetic. It drove me crazy and demoralized me in the moment. But that’s just part of the ride. Still love these guys and it was a great year.
Harrison Barnes is a class act and great locker room voice. But it’s time to transition to that role of: bench/part-time player who spits wisdom on the sidelines.
It’s too bad Mikail Bridges is unattainable with our current assets… at least at a price that makes it worth it for us. Same with OG Anunoby. Dorian Finney-Smith is a lower-caliber, more attainable option.
I like Kelly Olynyk as a glue bench big. Doesn’t really help the rebounding woes, though.
Difference between effort and heart, in my opinion. In that third quarter, we came nowhere near matching their effort/energy level. Then when we got down, we lost our poise. But that’s not the same thing as guys not “wanting it.”
Very disappointing way to end the season, but it was an...
It’s a lack of poise, for sure, but I do think it was also a lack of effort all third quarter. And I don’t think we can climb out of the hole we dug for ourselves
Would gladly eat crow, but I just don’t see it.
ABC broadcast is insufferable.
“Kings leading by two.”
Jalen Rose (like a drunk soothsayer warning Caesar to avoid the Senate): “WARRIORS IN SEVEN!!!!!!!”
Ordinarily, that would be the kiss of death, for anyone even 0.1% superstitious. But Mike Brown is surely draining the blood of a bison as we speak to countermand the curse.
Go Kings!
It’s a goos thought, serbiangoat. You may well be right about that. We’ve struggled more defending a lineup with four shooters, including giving up more offensive boards.
