[Game] Kings @ Jazz - 11/23/12

Thanks Kings. Worked a 15 hour black friday shift but it was all ok because I knew I would get to watch a game at the end of it. And this is what I get to see. Straight gave it away. Smart was an idiot for not bringing in Reke earlier. Cousins with the dumbest plays ever. And the whole team for no situational awareness. We need to trade thornton to a team that can actually use his talents. He's the only one that knows how to win.

Stat of the night: Reke with 2 shots in the 4th. Another game where Reke was iced. He was on the bench for over 9 min. His bro is on twitter blowing up on the coach

Nobody wanted the ball, nobody wanted the shot. Johnson the option!!!!
it points to the bigger problem on this team, no roles, you think joel anthony would have dribbled the length of the court and take the last shot without passing it to bron wade or bosh and gotten away with it?

I'm glad missing all these games. Tip: start paying attention from afar. Wait until we hire a real coach and then start watching again. This can't be good for anyone's health.

Smart lost this one, along with Cousins giving away four straight freethrows in the backcourt like a bonehead. So Tyreke was having his way with the Jazz, so you sit him until 3 mins left in the 4th? WTF, he was the last of the starters to be subbed in, it was like he thought "OH ****TT!, forgot about you, get in there!" Even the Jazz announcers were scratching their heads as to why Tyreke wasn't in the game, absolutely ridiculous, fire this guy now please.

Joel Anthony would never have had the ball. He would have inbounded to James or Wade. Good ol' Keith Smart.

What i hate is that Sacramento has no reporters with the balls to challenge Smart on his bonehead moves. If this was New York or LA, the coach would face big time media pressure after a debacle like tonight.

I just came here to laugh at the team. What a bunch of clowns. 8 minutes to go... Lets run the clock down to 10 seconds on the shot clock and when the first screen doesn't work, just iso from here on out. That worked to the tune of about 5 points.

his post game presser is disgusting, praising all of his moves, deferring all of the blame onto the players, just rambling stupid cliches.
He just sounds like a guy who has the keen ability to speak well spewing basketball coach cliches left and right. His good speaking ability masks how boneheaded he is as a coach

The single biggest downside to being the fan of a small-market team is the fact that everybody who covers the team is beholden to whomever owns the team.

Tonight's game was the first game I've managed to see in quite a while, but let me just say this: I am so sick of this team being undisciplined. The team is young, I know, but it seems like we blow 4th quarter leads ALL the time. Unless we're up 30 with 10 seconds left, I'm never comfortable with a lead. And that has to start with the coach. I think it's about time we get an ACTUAL coach to teach our players a thing or 2 about keeping leads and playing disciplined basketball. And I think it's about time that the Maloofs realize that a mediocre team with a mediocre coach WILL NOT WIN. A good coach can win with a mediocre team, and a good team can win with a mediocre coach, but 2 wrong's don't make a right. Maloofs: sell the team to owners who have money, and understand the game of basketball.

That's because media is basically monopoly in Sac, plus they're lazy nitwits, plus they all hang together like a little club - instead of big city multiple media outlets, major cut throat competiton.

the funniest question was, were you concerned about the chippyness? like who gives and eff about the chippyness we just lost strictly because of his stupid rotations yet you go right around that question.

OH MY FU**ING GOD!!!!! smart has to be FIRED TONIGHT!!!!! And quite honestly he can take thornton with him. I like MT but if its between him and Evans i will help MT pack. Im so sick and tired of seeing tyreke on the bench so little Marcus Smart can get his minutes. I know he hit a late 3 to give us a chance but that isnt the point. If tyreke and salmons and put back in the game when they should have been the lead would have never been lost. We won both the 1st and 3rd quarters with our starters in and then we never see them together in the 4th all so little marcus smart can play. keith smart shall now be know as Keith stupid motherfu**** i cant wait until you are fired Smart!!!!! PLEASE HIRE NATE MCMILLIAN BEFORE WE LOSE TYREKE AND THEN DMC

a bunch of crap, what stuck was "Jimmer played great" hes always ready blah blah, and he blamed cuz on the aaron iso play, said it was a designed pick n roll and cuz never came up. He praised Jimmer more than Tyreke.
Jimmer did play great, as evidenced by the team winning while he was on the court. Had Smart stuck with Jimmer and ran pick and rolls the rest of the game, the Kings would've won. However, Smart, like most of the fans here, got nervous and yanked Jimmer just because Utah cut into the lead. Bad decision.

Jimmer lost the lead. Stop exaggerating how well he played. He got killed on defense and him trying to do more than he is capable of lost the lead for the team.

Jimmer wasn't on the court when the lead was lost, nor did his overall game lead to Utah beating the Kings while Jimmer was in the game. Jimmer was in the +. Secondly, his defense was good, I don't know what you're talking about.

After listening to Harpring, and seeing how half the Utah broadcast was about Jimmer not playing enough, I can see why his fanboys are completely delusional.
