[Game] Sac @ Por 1/23/12

I actually think there's a difference between "selfish" and "unable to play team basketball, especially with hardly a shred of an offense system in place". Adequate coaching (or adequate time with adequate coaching, we can hope) should be able to fix this.
Selfishness usually indicates you are unable to play team basketball. I am not saying all the players are naturally selfish (some are), but the manner in which they "run" plays shows selfishness. Poor Cousins drops down after every pick he sets looking for the ball and nothing. I play pick-up basketball all the time and see better passing and more involvement from complete strangers. These guys are pros and it should be even easier for them.

No, selfish means you are unwilling to play team basketball. Do not confuse the two. Our players are not conditioned to play team basketball, because most of them never had to.

Do not ascribe malice to that which can be reasonably explained by ignorance.

Can't remember a broadcasting crew ripping us or any other team for that matter, like Portland's doing to us right now.

They're mostly right, but, ouch.. listening to this broadcast is absolute torture.

I don't get Smart's love for the Jimmer-IT backcourt. Teams has been feasting on this combo for several games now. Going small is supposed to run and gun but this combo don't even run at all.

And that, señor, is my point: don't act like Crawford going for twenty-six is the craziest thing that's ever happened in a game.
