I might agree if this team wasn't one of the youngest in the league, but when spoiled 20-somethings are the ones having incidents, it's hard to place the blame at his feet.

But this is the big problem. Cousins handle it correctly. He went to the coaches office for a private conversation. Westfail aired that conversation. Westfail blew the trust not Cousins.

it needs to be said again...... Adleman could've coached Cousins. Period.

If Adleman wasn't fired when he was, you can't assume we would have DMC (or Tyreke) now. Might as well say that Phil Jackson could've coached Cousins...

i'm not doing a revision of history, or saying that if Adleman had never been fired the Kings would be contending for XXXX right now...

nothing of the sort.

I AM saying that people at the time didn't give Adleman enough credit for how well he manged the potentially volatile cast of characters he coached. and i AM saying that other coaches (like Adleman) could do a much better job with Cousins than the current King's coach... WITHOUT being lickspittle yes-men to the prince in waiting.
