I was pretty disappointed, to tell you all the truth. I expected way more than what I got, and the other movies in the series, in my opinion, have all been leaps and bounds better. The plot was ridiculously weird in my opinion as well.

I haven't seen the movie, but the book was "ridiculously weird," as you called it. It was complex, weird, and one of the hardest ones to follow. So, it does not surprise me that this movie was not on par with the others.

I havent read any of the books actually, but am planning on doing so in the future. I just hope that, in the last movie(s) we/I get some good answers to a lot of questions that still remain unanswered after this movie...
I'm not a fan of the series. I saw this one, but this is the only one I saw or read. Needless to say I didn't know what was going on. But you do know that they are splitting the last book into 2 movies right?
yes i do. read my last post again....i said "movie(s)".......i am thinking that the HBP was done this way not by accident but by choice, so us viewers can be left hanging and waiting for the last movie(s), which I imagine would then answer our questions and clear any confusions we may have.
With the above said, I still left the movie theater today disappointed in what I had just watched for like 2 hours and 45 minutes, or however long the movie was.
I just hope the last 2 movies in this series blows this one out the door.

The last book is fantastic, IMO. It not only answered all my questions, but all the questions that I didn't even realize that I had. I do think you will like it much much better than this one.
SacKings7, where did your post go? Did you delete it?

Honestly, I thought the first two movies were horrid. They movie series started to get good from a cinema perspective with the third movie. All of them have been taking quite a lot of liberties with the original stories, and I like the stuff I am watching to be as true to its source as possible, and the HP movies have barely tried. When I rate it a 3, I am rating the series.
