Calling All Season Ticket Holders

#1
Okay so I am leaving to Long Beach to finish college in a month and a half, so I will miss the ending of the season due to the Olympic Break. I think I can attend 4 more games and than I am done. :( Unless we make the playoffs and play LA! So next summer I am planning on getting season tickets; however, before I do I have a couple of questions for season ticket holders. Okay so I was wondering what are some of the benefits of being a season ticket holder? Do you get into games earlier than the general public? Are there special STH events? Road trips? Etc... Any information will be helpful, because I love going to the games and have always wanted to become a STH. Thanks in advance.

Best of luck to you in Cali. I've been a season ticket holder since 97.
There are lots of good things & some could be better. The STH get in 1/2 hr. before the general public. We get a special MVP gift & a media guide every season. They try and hold events through-out the year. Viewing parties, road trips, & special autograph events. They have Section parties before game ect. If you sit courtside, you also get several perks.
I like it & I do feel like a MVP. I think you will have fun joining the Mvp's.

Some others can share their expereinces as well. For me it's FanTastic:)

Tickets are also cheaper for season ticket holders than you would pay single game.

Good luck in school!

(and don't forget to make your picks in Pick One, after you have finished your studying and all...;))

Well that definitely sounds like fun! It seems like there are a lot of various activities. Do you sit courtside? I got tickets courtside last year for the final game and it was amazing! Thanks for the information I am really excited now. :D

I did sit courtside for many years, loved it as well! Decided to move up a few rows & save a few bucks. Still got a great view, except I miss my leather seats;) I am saving $50 a game which is cool. I do recommend courtside if you can swing it. I sit on the visitors side sec.109 which I enjoy. You get a chance to get a good look at all the players in the WNBA.

My like most wanted thing in the world right now is season or half season tickets. Unfortuneatly it costs like $10,000 for decent seats for 2 people. I wan't to save up and everything...but $10,000 plus the cost of gas to sacramento every game, its just to much to spend considering im not like rich....I'm sad...:(

Well your talking Kings courtside...were talking Monarch's courtside...huge difference! Courtside Monarchs around $1,400...Kings $500-$900 a game:eek:

You do have to have some xtra cash for that ticket;)

One other perk worth noting....

In the blog about the Texas Road trip and STH reception, there was a picture of the lithograph that all season ticket holders received last year.

http://www.wnba.com/monarchs/features/monarchs_insider_two.html

That was definitely one of the best STH gifts I'd gotten.
I agree a very cool gift. This years MVP banner flag is sweet too.
Of course I really like the Championship banner they gave us...a memory I'd like to make real again;)
