Boring name, colors, and logo

I'm glad there's another team in the WNBA. But the Dream?

I know they had a "name-the-team" contest, but the choices they gave (Dream, Flight, Surge, and Sizzle) all sounded so lame!

And the logo and colors: red, white, and pale blue. Kinda blah! Too many other WNBA teams have a blue color scheme.

Maybe they'll change it in '09, but whatever!

I wonder what their mascot will look like.

I sorta like the name, but have to agree the color scheme could have been better. Well if they used dark blue, they would have the Shock colors...

Just the same I ordered a long sleeve tee to support the new Dream team

It sort of looks like a combination of the Chicago and Detroit Team Colors. And I agree the logo is not appealing. But I do dig the name. In my mind it references Dr. King and his Atlanta roots.
