Recent streak provokes thoughts on Bibby's return...

I have a feeling when Bibby returns he will be coming of the bench for the first few games to get his stamina back. Maybe we can play both Bibby, and Beno in a small lineup. Martin at SF, Artest at PF, and Moore at C.

Bibby is one of the better PG's in the league reguardless of style. The question is, does he fit the style that Theus is searching for? No. But I am a firm believer that you should have the best players on the floor. Theus will and should start him. It is up to him to put Mike in the best possible position on the floor. It will be painful to watch Mike get his shooting touch back even though it is his non-shooting hand.

Beno is a true back up point guard until he gets more consistant with his shot. He fits the run and gun style but needs to improve his decision making.

What excites me is the thought of Bibby and Beno competing to push each other. IIRC Bibby seemed to be a better PG when we still had Bobby. There hasn't had anyone since who has made Bibby work for his job all that hard. I'm kinda hoping we hold onto Bibby for now, because I want to see this team with both PGs available and healthy. Could be a nice change.

We can't answer that question yet. Theus doesnt have a style yet, and we havent seen Bibby in Theus' "system". Way too premature a statement.

i disagree. now, i haven't seen a lot of the kings games this season at all, BUT judging from the talk around here, i believe that theus at least has the style "does not make kingsfans want to gouge out their eyes after a game," a la last season/ :p

I think the Martin situation does change things because we need to find out whether there will be any team chemistry to destroy.

Before the Martin injury, I think this conversation has relevance. I really would not mind if they traded Bibby, I like Beno a lot. I think he will flourish in Sac and become more consistant. I am not worried about production this season anyway.
