forget the lottery. no gaurantee that we'll get what we need from the draft. im just ready for the offseason just because!!!!!!!!! lord forbid if we are worse next season. im just looking forward to the offseason in general for the fact that we can make trades and develop a few of the promising young men on this team. i dont know everything, but i know one thing will put my mind at ease and that's knowing musselman will not be apart of this franchise next season. we've stunk for the past 3 seasons. 2005 loss to sonics, 2006 loss to spurs, 2007 no playoffs. my expectations with this team will grow during the offseason. i EXPECT trades to happed and moves to be made. goodnight

Well, we've probably finally been spared a humiliating first round sweep at the hands of the Mavericks. I'd like to thank LA for putting us out of our misery, personally.

Hart just said "If I can help keep them out of the playoffs, I'm happy". Wow, you'd think he'd have hard feelings about what happened here, but he truly wants what is best for us. Thank you Jason!!!

in retaliation to Jason Hart's comment of keeping us out of the playoffs..........(Which I must add we did ourselves. 13 missed freethrows is unexcusable)

Dear Mr. Hart
Thank you for playing halfway decently for the Clips. Hopefully they will re-sign you for a long time, only for you to turn out a bust (which you certainly will be......). Your true colors will come out sooner or later, and it will be nice to see you in our division for a long time, bringing the Clips down. Oh yeah..........

You are not making the playoffs either. That spot goes to the deserving Warriors.

While I agree that Hart is a nuisance, the Warriors have a much tougher schedule coming out ahead than the Clips. They are a pure offensive team with a lot of young talent, but few players over 30/few veterans.

Yeah... Clips have 5 games against weak lottery teams; 2 against NO/OKC, 2 against Portland and 1 against Sacramento. They'll probably win them all.

If you miss 13 free throws and have 0 assists in the first quarter in a must-win game like tonight, you don't deserve to make the playoffs. I don't care who you play or how many days you had off.

Don't you people get it? This is sports! As in competition? Of course he's going to be happy about keeping us out of the playoffs by beating us especially if it means helping them get in. He's not trying to be "classy", he's trying to win! I'm happy for him. (And especially because he contributed to a very important lin for us, and hopefuly will again.)

This is just getting ridiculous. Now we're to the point where we should cheer some former player for dumping on the team because it helps our draft pick?

There is something horribly wrong with that picture.

Hart could have shown a lot more class. Of course he's happy to keep us out of the playoffs? Fine. I just don't think he needs to keep belaboring all this crap as though he's Steve Nash or something. He's NOT that good IMHO. His little flash of "greatness" in Los Angeles will fade once the newness wears off. Gloating always comes back to haunt the person doing it...

Oh come on. Gloating? The dude is just stoked. I would be too.

And what do you mean dumping? All he said was he's happy to keep us out of the playoffs. Us, as in his competition. And yeah maybe he's got a little extra motivation, as anyone would, cause he got benched on this team.

Class shmass. It's overrated. I don't need my athletes to act like girl scouts.

BTW, why have you "lost all respect" for this guy? What's your beef anyway?

edit: Oh and yeah we are to the point of rooting for the other team because it will help our draft pick. And there's nothing horribly wrong with my picture.

We who? I'm not rooting for the other team. If you choose to do so, that's fine...for you. I simply cannot do it. Now if our team loses because the young, inexperienced players are getting major minutes and simply cannot beat the better teams, that's fine. But the idea of actually rooting for the Spurs, the Warriors, the Clippers, etc. makes me throw up in my mouth just a little. It's just not something I can do.
