Saw on the pregames shows that the Bucs have put a lot of their players up on the trade block. I think Anthony McFarland would look great in a Niner uni. ;)

We have to work on our big guys. Our lines (defensive primarily but also offensive) look like a bunch of pee-wee players out there...

I keep telling myself to have patience. It's not easy.

It all starts on the lines, really. A good DL will put enough pressure to disrupt the offense, and a good OL will help the offense run smoothly. I think the OL is decent, but the DL needs a lot of work.

Im not to worried about the offense, as they actually looked like a solid team out there until the interception ended the half, and broke our spirits.

Anyways, we need defense...Badly...

I heard that brotha! The moves we made this last offseason were to put offensive weapons around Alex. Now that we have a decent offense, we can focus this next offseason on acquiring defensive parts. We need to find the next Bryant Young and ink him to a huge contract. Then we need to go after some more physical safeties/cornerbacks. I think we're okay at the linebacker positions.

One of the worst defenses I've seen. No pass rush. Can't cover anyone, and bad tacklers.

I agree that the offense looks much better than last year and will only get better.

Next year I think the team will be better balanced on both sides of the ball.

I don't really feel too badly right now. When you have zero expectations, you can't be disappointed. I had ZERO expectations for this year...and losing to the rampaging Bears doesn't surprise me in the least.

;)

On the other hand, I just might set a record in the Bigdog fantasy football league for the fewest points ever scored by an active participant.

The Viking offense is all runs and short passes, no game breaking, stretch the field ability...in other words, just right for our defense. ;)

Anyway I'm very excited for the future regardless..

The 49ers have seven picks in the first four rounds of the 2007 draft and $30 million in cap money to spend in free agency. :eek:
