I've seen the pro-Q & R commercial twice in the past 15 minutes on News10. It's well done; it talks about the railyards and what they could be if the measures pass; it doesn't stress the Kings or the arena.

One complaint? The guy talks a little too fast.

I'd be very interested in seeing the initial polling numbers on response to the ad.

There are 12 minutes to play and we are down 25. It is time to start launching 3's (where is Peja when we need him?). It would be nice if Joe and Gavin would come of the bench and drain a few 3's for us. With or without them, Kings fans will play hard until the final buzzer.

i'm more pessimistic then i was 2 months ago... any chance of these measures passing has long come & gone. point the finger at blame at whomever you want, there is plenty to go around.

to not have a signed MOU, to not have a detailed model/display of what the new arena would look like, to not have a daily barrage of ads (print, radio, tv), to not be so vocal and public in their efforts (maloofs), well basically way too little way too late.

honestly, i can't blame the votes who vote no because they just didn't get enough detailed, consistent, and accurate information. too much public "well it could go here, might be a problem with the railyard, etc etc"...its hard to blame the generic voter for just saying "no" because they don't have enough information, not that they are all anti-sports or anti-kings.

really, this is a HUGE decision for the county of sacto and to try and cram it down voter's in 30 days is just retarted PR.

course that's just my opinion, i could be wrong (and hope to be).

Dude, the developer doesn't even have title to the railyards yet.
was that meant to support my point or to derail (haha, get it? derail...classic) um, anyway derail my point?

i keep hearing on KHTK from Koz, Napier, etc... "just wait till we get to the details, there will be a huge education campaign"... i swear i've heard that, and similiar statements, for the last 2 months since the initial agreement announcement. how much longer are we going to wait? am i the only one who's calendar actually loses a day every 24 hours?? what are "they" waiting for to get started??
