I'm part-Indian as well and my family is all about 'em. Our personal fav will always be K3G for whatever reason, but there are some wicked awesome Bollywood flix out there!
Check out "Khabi Kushi Khabi Gham". "Kaho Na Pyaar Hai" is decent as well. "LAgaan" was nominated for an back in 2001 for best foreign film. "Dil Chataa Hai" as well is a highly touted picture. "Devdas" is considered by many Indians to be a classic. You can also check out "Bride and Prejudice". It's an Indian version of "Pride and Prejudice"...however it's a little cornier because it's in English. It still has all the makings of a Hindi movie with songs and everything.
Anyways...those are some of my personal suggestions. I haven't seen some of the newer ones, but when I do, I'll make sure to let y'all know what I think.
I haven't watched much, but have really enjoyed what Bollywood films and entertainment I have seen. My favorite Indian restaurant has a plasma TV that plays them throughout the day. I'd watch more if I could find a TV channel that plays them.

If you have satellite you can order Zee TV and they play Indian Soap Operas and occasionally will play a Bollywood flick. Also, if you have an Indian Store near your house, you can rent DVD's from there as well. Sometimes AMC or A&E will do a day of Bollywood stuff as well.
Amen brother! Check out "Bride and Prejudice" it's a Hindi movie in English with a story based on "Pride and Prejudice". Ashwarya Rai is in it and does a great job!
