May Bonzi Still Be Signed?

What if he gets crap offers from other teams and sees nothing he likes? Does anyone think its possible the Kings may still sign him for around the original deal and just pay the luxury tax? Or do they still look for a sign and trade and pay the luxury tax?

Not that I want this to happen. Just curious. I wasn't a fan of paying Bonzi 9 million to sit on the bench in a few years. I'm more curious about the willingness of the Maloofs to open the wallet.

Don't confuse my original post with what I want to happen. I don't want them to sign him, I was just asking if it was possible. The negative responses are good, if that makes sense.


And, I actually work early, early mornings..............so yes, I am a bit crazy at times.

Petrie clearly stated in his interview on KHTK yesterday that he wishes Bonzi the best and this is where they part ways. Grant asked him point blank.

The only option at this point is, if there is a sign and trade option out there where the kings can actually get someone or someone's that they want, they would sign and trade Bonzi so that Bonzi can get the money he is looking for. Otherwise Bonzi will be left going somewhere for the MLE.
