Domas SNUBBED

I'd be shocked, but then we watch how Domas is reffed game in and game out. League does not care about this guy one iota. The fact he still puts up monster games without the benefit of a star whistle is pretty incredible.
Most amazing thing to me is his self-control not to get basically any technical fouls, it has to be insanely frustrating to get called for a small push in the back that absolutely doesn't influence a play and then a rake on a head ignored on the other side of the floor

For the last few games, Domas has been so vocal on the court, calling out the guys to take defensive positions. A positive sign, him taking over the leadership; it's his team now.

On a side note, I believe it is the first technical foul I've seen on Deebo sticking out for his big guy with a referee earlier in 3rd quarter for a no-call after a rebound and score under gritty defense. There must be a limit to this disrespect to Domas, lol.

A card was shown during the game, Domas is 2nd in total fouls called against and 1st in fouled out times this season.
Add to those the fact that he doesn't get the fouls called on him and it makes thing even weirder why is he treated this way.
As I mentioned like a month ago, during the first year of "beam" Domas was posting the same insta story over and over again after every win, that Adam Silver is pissed when he learns on the phone that the Kings won again (it was a meme or something with face-swapping Silver's face in whoever that guy from the clip is). I don't know for how long this has been going on, when it stopped (if it stopped) and if he still posts something similar to that, but I am sure it wasn't helping his case.

That was a blatant foul, one of many, that refs didn't call. Domas would have had 35+ points if he didn't wear the Kings jersey. I just assume that Kings had to go 5 on 8 every game.

I don’t know what Domas’s whistle was like before he got to the Kings since I didn’t watch him play much but in his first week here he got ejected from a game for bumping a ref and it’s been downhill ever since.

If I had to bet, it will come down to Kyrie, Booker or Domas. We’ll see who Silver goes with.
It better be Domas for one of the spots. He literally leads the league in rebounding and double-doubles, it's not even close. The Kings are the only team without a representative at the All-Star game and the game is 90 minutes away from Sacramento. Plus the Kings are in the thick of the playoff hunt.

It would literately be a travesty to deny Domas an All-Star spot now.

Then he would never get a opportunity to.be a allstat again his whole.career.

Take the allstar, there are a lot of stars out there these days and a lot of deserving players. He should get it tho
True, they really just need to make the rosters 15 each. It really isn't that hard and there are absolutely at least 30 all stars in this league

Agreed, but it always feels like the Kings get screwed on things like this. He should have been named an All Star by the coaches the last two years but was snubbed. Hope Silver rights a wrong here.

Sengun also got injured in the back in his last match. No idea if his injury is serious and if he will also miss the All Star Game to make it almost certain that Domas will be called.

DLo and KC asked why they haven’t released the second name and speculated maybe someone declined. It is a little odd they didn’t announce the names together right? Or maybe the AD info came in later. Still, if imagine when they finalize the list they have 2 alternatives ready to go.

I am wondering if they think it is fun to make you wait. I refreshed the twitter page all morning until lunch and then figured ok these jerks will drop it same time tomorrow.

But possibly someone declined? I doubt it though since most players have a bonus incentive. Who knows but looking at the team AD was selected for it does not have the frontcourt depth Giannis's team had so hopefully they would replace with Domas no brainer.

I seem to recall that a player can't just decline an invite to the All-Star game. I think that was an issue many years ago when the stars just didn't want to go. I believe it is now mandatory that if you are chosen, you have to go unless you are legitimately injured.

Interestingly enough, I believe that the only event at All-Star weekend that players are allowed to refuse to participate in is the Dunk Contest.
