Lyles was quite bad tonight, I thought staying after the deadline could boost his morale. Missed many open shots, didn't do much in the defensive part as well. Works better as "small 5" against smaller centers, but as a wing not so effective one. He is like HB, but coming from the bench, has some good matches here and there.

The last three was a weird step back where Deebo was in his grill but he hit it anyways. The one before that was on a hedge by Jonas who didn’t play the pick and roll as tight as the Kings usually do because, well, he literally met the team at the airport.

Yeah, the connection? In the first half the Kings played the Brown era help garbage defense. In the 2nd half they actually played defense. The Blazers shot 7-21 I think from 3 in the 2nd half.

-Portland had only 2 turnovers in the second half, it might be connected with Keon playing less, Carter also.
-Keegan took one shot in the whole 2nd half, I think it was a fastbreak that he was blocked by Camara.
-Portland hit some tough 3s, but missed several open ones as well (Camara, Grant, Sharpe) that we "dodged a bullet"

It's funny Zach is getting the torch tonight. If anyone looked ragged out there it was Malik. He couldn't stay in front of his own shadow most of the night and kept going to risky passes and hero ball shots. Next game is a beatable opponent and the get right game.
