Did anybody notice what DDR said in the post game interview? Morgan asked him how it's been the last "24 hours with all the emotion" and DDR said something like "well, it's goes back like a month and a half" which is about the time Fox quit on the team.
Lavine is a man of focus imagine playing as good as he has been knowing the team you are does not want you and has been offering you up to every team in the NBA. how is he gonna feel when gets that Sacramento fan love?
Kings fans just want good basketball man. That's literally it. We're so sick of all the off-court drama seemingly year in and year out. If LaVine comes here, works his ass off, gets buckets, this fandom is going to embrace the hell out of him. Especially after watching another one of our few stars gladly walk out the door.
To be fair to Keegs, the T-Wolves started defending him tighter in the second half AND he started devoting more energy to guarding Naz on the other end.
Enjoyed this game immensely. Last game of a brutal six game road trip. Three players down. First game after the trade. Monk stepped into his role seamlessly. Hes a dawg. Deebo was amazing and clutch the entire game. Despite Goebert beating up on Sabonis and getting few foul calle, he made big free throws at the end. Lots of effort and heart to pull this one out. Looking forward to Lavines arrival and possible another addition with some size. Next player up…

And remember, at one point even though we knew it was getting matched he was going to be the biggest free agent signing in Sacramento Kings history, haha.
Yeah, the Kings have built a team full of players with chips on their shoulders. Always underrated. Deebo is DeFrozen. LaVine is worth a 2nd round pick. Monk will always be known for being the guy that Jordan had to call back over when he missed the first smack to the back of the head. Christie was just a company shill.
The last two minutes were nerve-wracking. You know Minnesota is an excellent defensive team and they were going full-court press. The Kings hit three clutch two-point shots and all but one of their free throws down the stretch.
If there is a guy, it's Jonas. He's the best bet to cut some of these minutes down for Domas which is the biggest concern. LaVine can flex 2/3 so I think the Kings are already much better prepped there to stagger.
DeRozan is going to hunt that mid range jumper all the way to the playoffs. My goodness, he doesn't care who's in front of him--theyre just inconveniencing him.

Maybe that doesn't get Carter on the floor this year, but it SHOULD help make sure Keon is like right in line for 25-28 MPG off the bench. Another "problem" Doug needs to solve is that Keon simply cannot be below 25 MPG in any single game the rest of the way. 18-21 MPG doesn't cut it.
I loved the way Coach Christie had his team milk the clock almost the entire second half, making the Timberwolves work, work, work on defense and in the process taking some of the edge off their shooting game. It was crafty and ultimately successful.
