Fortunately we have a relatively soft schedule after that (assuming the LOLMAVS don’t turn into juggernauts with AD) which bodes well for working LaVine into the lineup ahead of Fox’s return to Sac in a few weeks

Funnily enough I was messing around with mock trades earlier with Sac-Chi-SA where we got Lavine but sent out Fox and Huerter.

I can see them wanting to move DeRozan and Trey to get in some additional wing/frontcourt help of DR doesn't want to be here. Shame too because he's been really solid for us and I wish we would have gotten a full season of beam team with a dedicated Fox. Who knows what might have happened.

The thing about the Spurs keeping Castle is that he and Fox are literally going to get in each others ways right now. Both excel getting downhill but only one guy can do that at a time. Also CP3 is going to need the ball a bit too.

I think Jonas is like the clear slam-dunk here. He's on a very team-friendly cost-controlled deal for another few years and just instantly solves our back-up C problem. National team bros with our franchise player. And WASH is going to love they don't have to take any money back. 2 or 3 2nd's should be enough, I'd think.
