I enjoyed seeing Fox play. I don't have any interest in flaming him on his way out the door. He wanted to be in Sacramento through some awful seaons and now he wants to play somewhere else for a better chance to contend. I don't like it, but I get it.

He would have been perfectly content to stay, if he thought/knew he could get the super max. He put the team on hold this season, to find out whether he had a chance to make ALL NBA to get that money. Now that he knows he's not making it and not getting that extra money, he's effectively dropped a bomb in the middle of this season, right when the team had made a positive turn around and was poised to make a run at the playoffs

He absolutely can be though. That's what kills me. When his give a damn is on I don't think I've watched a more exciting player in Sacramento or most of the NBA during his career. Why is that broken?

His main motivation is more money, guaranteed money. Not a high level competitor that has a burning desire to lead a team all the way

Na. The most “real” report seems to be from a guy who San Antonio’s Reddit says is very reliable and doesn’t just spout nonsense… then everyone seems to be piggybacking off of his report.

I fully agree on that front but it is amazing that he has managed to be as good as he is with that being his motivation vs. just being Marvin.

Never said we should have traded Fox to Indiana INSTEAD of Halliburton. Who here doesn’t understand by now that Indiana didn’t want Fox. They wanted Halliburton and his rookie contract on top of who he is. Why do I still have to state this when talking about Halliburton? I wouldn’t have done the Indiana deal BECAUSE they didn’t want Fox. I love sabonis but I didn’t want to give up Halliburton. At this point it’s all speculative so it is what it is.
