Honestly yall. Can we talk now about mixing this team up? Can we trade Fox now for some height while we can? We need a leader out there. Fox can't be your best player on your team

Doug has to be smart at some point though. We got a lesson about this kind of thing with Walton. The Kings have made up the ground to get back in the play in race, not every game is life or death. Better looking L's can create a bad run of tired play eventually. We've seen it.
I agree to a certain degree but the only reason the starters were in this game at all was because the random bench dude he stuck in to start the fourth had an ungodly Steph/Klay level shooting explosion and almost single handedly closed a 20 point deficit. Aside from not putting Domas and DeMar back in to close the game (the two guys who looked most affected by the B2B), I’m not sure there was much else Doug could have done differently once it became clear that the Kings were building enough momentum to at least make a run at the lead.

If the Kings make the playoffs, all will be shown. The playoffs often times are a completely different story as the beam team found out the first go around. Regular season ain't it.
I think Sabonis can guard Joker better. Honestly feel he got soft after that flop foul. Took all his intensity out on that end. Plus a few bad turn overs from sabonis was not characteristic

I gotta believe a Fox trade can bring in some real
Game changers. If it can it seriously excites me to imagine how good this team can be. Skys the limit.

Then leave the comeback crew in. Yeah, like I said, at some point DC has to look and see what's actually happening and relate it back to schedule. Pick your spots and some of the teams you can beat up on and teams where wearing down when the result is statistically likely you might want to consider a smart retreat. Tricking your way against a team that's kind of started to shut it down is possible like 99% of the time. I get it, I'm sure Doug is going overboard to make sure the Kings brass knows this is his gig. I'm almost surprised they haven't given him a long term deal yet although 13 games is still a super small sample size.
Still people? Your boss expects 100% out of you day in and out. You up with a new born baby till 4am? So what. You think your boss going to care about your new baby? He's not.
Is that extreme? Perhaps. Point is. Fox needs to be traded
Good fight, I would have personally liked to see more starters get pulled and play guys like Carter. We are going to need him if we make the playoffs and he needs some minutes. Maybe that would have happened had Doug not gone nuclear for a few minutes
The problem with this team as it is constructed is defense not offense. We scored 123 in a back to back with tired legs. That result is pretty damn good. Problem is we gave up 132. That result is not good.
Some of it is the teams and some of it is we are way to damn small.
OK, so Fox, DDR, and Domas all nipping at or around 40 minutes on the night. Yikes. Off to NY for that game in roughly a day and some change lol. That beam better be restocked with some of those favorite socks.

What does "game changers" mean, for the purposes of this conversation? Do you expect Fox to bring back somebody better than Fox in a trade? And, if they're not better than Fox, in what way would they be game changers?

Listen, I’ve heard that Fox is a superstar from the majority of this board for years. So if he’s a superstar, a competent GM should be able to bring in a pretty good haul for him right? So is Fox a star or not?

I suggest trading Fox for three worse players, one of whom has a contract so bad that Geoff Petrie is still probably paying him money, and NO draft assets whatsoever!

What this squad is will be determined come playoff time. The concern is history. It can be overcome but Domas in the playoffs and DeMar have a history. Are they getting DeMar DeRozan, or DeMar DeFrozen? haha. DeMar has never really had a crew this talented though.
