sure but I could go on with Brunson, Lillard Cunningham. All teams in the top six.
The thing is Brunson and SGA were on the team last year. So it's more about looking at who was also on the team that is disqualified and also looking at the fact that Fox made it 2 years ago. He's right on the cusp so the dq's are going to matter.

If you look at Fox vs. Lillard, Fox is ahead in all the counting stats except assists. Lillard hasn't made All-NBA since 2021.

I would bet on Fox making it over Cade.

Depending on how generous you would like to be with "PG" there were 6 on the 2023-24 team. 7 guards.

also worth noting that Steph has missed 8 of 40 games so he is basically on a exactly 65 game pace right now.
okay further follow-up as a did some double checking. Let’s say 7 guards make it.

on for sure: SGA 1st, Mitchell 4th
highly likely on: Lilliard 4th, Brunson 3rd

Then you have teams in the playoffs now: Ant, Cunningham, Haliburton, Harden, Garland, Young,

that assumes Curry, Doncic, Kyrie and Ja don’t qualify and Brown gets classified as a forward.

Not if they aren’t top six I wouldn’t. And you left off Shooting percentages Dame versus Fox.

I bolded those I think will get in. Fox will finish above the rest.

I was good with the list until about 6 and then it goes off the rails. Domas at 20 is just the same disrespect he sees from officials game in and game out.
Disrespect or not we'll see Domas and Fox in the top 15 aka the All NBA teams at the end of the year and that's all that matters for the purpose of this discussion.

And Klutch will be sending fruit baskets with Fox highlights to all the voters.

As much as I dislike Harden's game at this point of the season he probably deserves it more than Fox.His less talented ( imo) team has 2.5 game lead, they beat Kings both times h2h and his advanced stats are better ( Vorp, BPM ) while WS very similar.
Harden hasn't made an All NBA Team since 2020. Remember these are voted on by media and once guys fall off they typically don't come back and I am pretty sure Harden has managed to pee off his share of NBA media to make it a challenge for him to achieve this recognition.

uh. You do see the problem in this statement……

You point out the teams are positionless. I think it means it’s far more likely you get 10 front court guys and they put Brown as a guard.

these are locks barring injury…..
Tatum, Brown, Giannis, Jokic, Davis, Mobley, Durant, Wemby,

Mitchell, SGA, Ant, Brunson

then three from:
James, Towns, Green, Sengun, Domas, Harden, Williams, Jackson Jr, Trae or Lillard

If the Kings move up to 5th then Fox joins the list. If Houston or Memphis remains 3rd one of Green, Sengun or JJJ is a lock.

Quinn is a media person (who vote all NBA) and here is his take on all stars.

Kevin Pelton ESPN doesn’t have Fox in either.

Fine. I feel like there's at least a 75% chance he gets it. I'd be thrilled if he doesn't because then he can't sign the super max.

I mean I forgot to add James to my list and Haliburton with Indy 5th in the East and Cunningham at 8th. If you feel LeBron is a lock then it’s two from

Towns, Green, Sengun, Domas, Harden, Williams, Haliburton, Cunningham, Jackson Jr, Trae or Lillard

And from the lock list above the 2nd, 3rd and 5th place teams in the west have no one. It’s impossible they get zero and the 7th-9th team gets two.

plus that’s assuming Curry, Luka, Kyrie, Ja, and Ball all don’t qualify.

Sabonis is 11th (and it seems to be a "lock" All NBA) Fox is 20th and none of the players above him has missed many games to be non-eligible.

From those written before Brown is for sure not a lock at the moment, he has to "up" his game/stats and the Celtics should do the same as well.
Fox is part of a team with 3 players averaging 20 points per game won't be easy to fit any All-NBA team if Sacramento won't make it straight to the playoffs (finishing 6th and above in the West). In general there are many players that can make it,half a season left, he will need many more not to be eligible or to improve his stats a lot and carry Sacramento to a higher position than the current one.

Kings have 3 20 point scorers and they all suck at defense. That’s not just Fox’s fault, you can blame Monte for Roster construction, but as long at it is true Fox will get his share plus of the blame for lack of team success.

if I’m Klutch I would tell Fox to leave.

You're just throwing out names. It's absurd.

This has been my stance too. Fox has wanted to be here and has been amazing as a King. If he wants to stay, great. But if he wants out, you trade him when his value is high and before you lose leverage.

That said, it means I have to disagree with your last statement. A focused, motivated Fox SHOULDN'T be a trade piece, but if he wants out, you get the best deal you can before he applies pressure and all the other teams lower their offers.
This!
